Gideon started and ended the day in RED after a scary day yesterday. He is now on 1.75 units Lantus BID. His +6 level = 362, and tonight PMPS = 454. Will hold steady at 1.75 units BID for the week, but am thinking of backing down to 1.5 units BID while we are away for the week, starting next Saturday. This is what we did last time we were away because he dropped to the low GREENS. Fortunately, the pet sitter was testing him. I don't want that to happen again. I will be asking for dosing recommendations as we get closer to Sat 8/15.
