Yesterday's boringly normal condo

Happy Friday LL!!

I could learn to love this new China! Of course today I'm not going to forget the (anti jinx) when I talk about how much I like these more normal cycles instead of all the dives!

She ate well this morning, and after breakfast has come up to snuggle for awhile (and use me as a bathtub, but that's OK)...I'm even getting some purrs this morning! Very unusual for China!

Got PT later and it's again time to take DM for her weekly hair appointment, but it sure is nice not having China dipping and diving so much! Hopefully today will be a repeat of the last several days where she just surfs safely along in the 60's-80's! (anti jinx)

I could get used to boring too...of course as soon as I did, China would change the rules!

Ended up at the doctor instead of PT. My left knee has been swollen and painful for a couple weeks and today it was really bad so got into see my regular doctor. Had a shot of steroid into the knee and figured it best to give it the day off from strenuous exercise. Doctor said I could still go to PT but to just work the right knee...that's kind of hard when a lot of the equipment requires both legs to work! Guess if the shot doesn't help, I'll have to see the orthopedic surgeon about fixing this one too

Still have to run DM to the beauty salon and then the grocery store though, so happy to see China being such a good little girl!

Oh no, not the other knee! :o I'm so sorry, Chris. Couldn't it at least have waited until the first one was 100%? Your knees are acting like cats. :lol:

Yeah, China, you are indeed boring, and boring is wonderful when Mama has so much on her plate. What a good kitty you are! cat_pet_icon

Tell China Cinco misses her, but it looks like he'll need more juice to get him down to her level. :sad: We might be taking that increase tomorrow.

Boring? Predictable? Really? Are you talking about a cat? :lol: :lol: I sure hope China didn't read her condo today. I'm sorry about your knee. PTs have lots of tricks in their bags, I bet they could figure out some exercises for you.

Well that was scary! Every night around 9pm, I call DM to make sure she remembers to take her night meds...tonight I tried 5 times in an hour and went to voice mail every time, so I had to get dressed and run over there to make sure everything was OK

She was laying on bed playing solitaire with her phone on the bedside table on the charger, so everything's fine, but remind me to make an appointment with the hearing aid place on Monday! My heart can't take this!

Of course China, being China, had to add a little more stress to the evening, but of course she's fine...would have liked her to be in the 70's though

We're in for the night, going to enjoy some more kitty snuggles and find something worth watching on TV until I know she's going to surf.

and if that shot was supposed to help, it didn't! Guess it may take a day or two before the steroid really kicks in though
 
I am glad that your DM was fine, but that is quite scary. Praying that your need will start to feel better. I am sure the extra stress doesn't help.
