Good Morning LL! It is the dreaded bounce today, I guess Tess had enough of the extra pokies yesterday. That was a fast drop yesterday morning after her shed got reestablished form the furshot of the day before. We did give her MC food at the +3 and +4 meals instead of syrup or honey to keep her from going too low. I've been wonder if the higher carb food makes her bounce more that if we had used syrup. For Tess at least, syrup lasts only 2 hours. This has been pretty consistent when we have used it. If after 2 hours her BG starts to drop again, another drop of syrup is usually all that is needed to get her past nadir. Yesterday we chose MC food because we were going to be gone, but she still didn't come up that much, until the evening and then , BAM! ohmygod_smile
I know the higher carb foods keep them up longer, but just how long is that and how much does it influence the ensuing bounce? Next time we'll try just the syrup or honey instead. of course then we get into the discussion in Gracie's condo the other day of which syrup or honey to use/ It's too early for all this, I'm giving myself a headache. @-)
WCR All 5 Ps, Clean Plate Club, brushing is ongoing in papabean's lap, and the beans are making no unusual moves indicating they are planning to abandon their posts today.
