Re: 8/7 Tarragon AMPS 221

I'm glad Tarragon had a good night!

I just posted this in Chinookie's condo to help her with making links to previous condos and thought you might want to see it too . . . it's one of those things that took me a bit of thought to figure out so thought I'd pass it on ;-)

To be fancy about the link, do it like this:

After you hit the URL button and get put an = sign after the first url, inside the brackets, and insert the link to yesterday's condo.

Then BETWEEN the brackets in the middle, after the closing bracket of the first url and before the opening bracket of the second one, you type the simpler text you actually want people to see, which will turn into the link people click . . . like this Tarragon's Condo Yesterday

Hi Melissa

I'm always happy to hear a good breathing report for Tarragon :-D I'm glad the extra pred fixed it.
And he was a lovey dovey kitty at that :-D
I know they understand when we're sad. Even my old grump was acting quieter yesterday.

Re: 8/7 Tarragon PMPS 134 +2 94

Nice greens but a very bad coughing night. We are going to go to the ER and get a breathing treatment since nothing seems to be helping here. Hopefully that will do it.

Hope Tarragon feels better after the ER trip and y'all have a peaceful, cough-free night

Re: 8/7 Tarragon PMPS 134 +2 94 Good Breathing Vines Plz

(((Melissa))) Piling on some more easy breathing for Mr. T. I hope all goes well at the ER. No drama now with the numbers, OK Tarragon?

We are home. They had everything ready when we got there and put him in the "tent" for about an hour. His breathing is a little better. He is still pretty wheezy but worn out. There isn't anything else they can do. The steroid shot would help but the last two times he has gotten one he went DKA so that is not an option. Hopefully the extra prednisone and the breathing treatment will let him rest. They did give him a small amount of honey to try and soothe his throat so I imagine his BG will sky rocket. Poor guy. Asthma sux.

Thank you all for the vines. We really appreciate it.

Oh no! Sweet Tarragon!!!! Sending tons and tons of breathe easy vines!!!! Smooches and scritches to Mr. T and ((hugs)) to you and DH!!!!

Poor guy! We're sending some comforting scritches and breathing easy vines, too! Hopefully the medicine starts to kick in and work well so everyone can get some rest.

Thank you for stopping by to visit Julia today!

Melissa! Oh poor Mr T! I hope tonight's treatment does the trick and he is breathing easier soon! Send ig tons of breath easy vines for T and for you.

KTSS is on the way! We'll get that vetty smell off in no time and makes you feel good. -- Tess

(((Melissa)))
So sorry to hear what you've been thru with Tarragon's breathing and so glad the ER treatment has helped. So nice they were all set up for Tarragon and waiting. Sending tons of healing and breathing vines and prayers. Comfort vines for you. I'll be watching for an update today, too. :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

I'm so glad Tarragon is home and breathing better cat_pet_icon Please give him some skritches from us.

Ohhh....I so know those breathing issues. Poe has asthma too. His last attack took us to the vet ER where they found his diabetes. He had had another about 5 years ago...and then was given the oral and injection of steroids, which I'm sure contributed to his FD.

Sending vines and scritches to Mr. T...and am glad to hear he is breathing easier. It's so awful watching them cough and suffer like that...always scares me to death.

I am seriously thinking of making my own breathing tent for him...easy enough if I can get a Rx for oxygen

Have a good day, Melissa
