HI EVERYONE!
I couldn't wait to post this! I can't believe we are at 3 months already! Tested his bg this morning and he is @ 59! He has been doing so well!!!!
I was so devastated (as some of you remember :) ) when I found out Scrabble was sick. It was a hard journey but he came through with flying colors! I hope we can give others hope too!
Scrabble is enjoying life at the falls, the only issues we have had has been food. He started having a problem with Fancy Feast and I have gradually been switching him over to wellness. The FF was causing some liquid poo. But other than that, he is a very happy and healthy kitty!!
I have had a very busy summer and feel bad that I haven't been on the board much. I do check in often but do not always post. I think of all of you a lot and hope everyone is doing well! I always keep all the Lantus kitties in my prayers!!!

So good to hear from you. How was your trip to the East Coast?
I am so happy to hear Scrabble is doing so well. Maggie just recently joined him at the Falls. Is it already three months? It just seems like we were celebrating Scrabble OTJ party not that long ago? I had the same problem with some of the FF that changed the label, especially the Salmon Feast which Maggie used to love. Maggie loves the Sophisticat Chopped Grill, especially if I sprinkle it with some of the Pure Bites Freeze Dried Chicken Breast. If I forget to add it, she looks up at me with these sad eyes - like, where's the topping lady!

I'm so glad that Scrabble is doing so well. I know its hard to believe that 3 months have gone by so quick. Good to hear that your having a good summer. It must be such a different pace not always having to stick Scrabble and give shots. It was really nice to hear from you. I have'nt forgotten you two. :-D

Wow, 3 months!! Congrats and we are so glad that everything is going well. We miss you guys, but when we think of Scrabble enjoying life at the Falls and you enjoying a freer schedule, we are very happy! Stu and the kitchen crew have invented some neat new recipes for the parties, so be sure to send Scrabble to the next full-moon party, OK?

Hi guys! and congrats on the three months annifursary - it is hard to believe that it has been that long. Seems like it was just yesterday! It is good to hear from you - and to read that Scrabble continues to do well. Life at the falls must suit him. Take care!

Congratulations on your 3 Month Annifursary! yay! Great report for Scrabble...glad you are both enjoying your new life at the Falls!!
Don't forget about the fll_moon parties....Stu is right to remind you...we need to see you at these parties...all the kitties miss you but we are all so happy that you are doing so well!!

Congrats and Happy Three Months OTJ - time flies when you are having a good time! When I read these announcements, it especially warms my heart since I work in the addiction field - I always think our kitties should get, for example in this case, a three month medallion as do humans when they are off the juice for three months! :mrgreen:

Jake, now in remission for about 2-1/2 months, also developed loose poos with Fancy Feast and even through I believe the high protein of FF facilitated his remission, I switched him over to Wellness. He still has loose stools from time to time, but not nearly as often. After the switch, I occasionally gave him FF as a treat because I thought maybe he would like variety. But he would immediately get loose stools from it so I don't do anymore at all. It was subsequently brought to my attention that when our kitties ate dry food, they did so very happily without any variety!! So we stick with Wellness - Chicken and Turkey - which are the lowest in phosphorus.

Hey! Congratulations on the 3 month anniversary! What a beautiful number, 59! I'd say you guys are doing great. I love hearing good news like this. Keep visiting, we love to know how well he is doing.

I always thought Scrabble was so regal looking:

Jezebel is a picky eater as well.....she likes the Fancy Feast but the only other food she will eat (and believe me we tried them all) is the Weruva Asian Fusion and Mack & Jack. She also LOVES the PureBites freeze dried chicken!

HI everyone, thanks for the well wishes! Glad to hear (not really glad but glad since I am not the only one) that others are having trouble with the FF. I feel so bad when he gets liquid poo. Awww, happy 3 months annifursary big boy!!! We miss you too, but I haven't been around much either. Hope it is a smooth transition to Wellness. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
 
Big congratulations on your milestone anniversary. Scrabble went through a lot in his quick journey to OTJ. See you at the 6 month mark (since Deb already has the 5-month covered).
