Racci seems to be doing well today. It's hard to tell since she's trying to get some peace and quiet with my DGS here. :lol: He's still coughing but much better than he was and rambunctious today. Racci still hasn't pooped but other than that, all else is good.

I'm going to make us some lunch now. Be right back. I'm sending healing wishes to those who need them.

Racci is doing nicely this morning with that green PS. More green Racci! :mrgreen: I love to see that green from you!

Hi Melissa & Helen,

The green amps was sure nice to see! Racci usually has blue. With little Jr. here today the only test I have today so far is a food test but from her hunger today and the bg I'm pretty sure she was green. (106). Her bottom looks better today already though! :-D

Now that Jr. went home, she'll get a chance to relax. He decided to pretend to be Racci's friend, Jesse Cat. :lol: He's been crawling around with her, meowing and lying next to her, following her, etc. He even ate his sandwich on the floor with her.

Racci doesn't want to eat today and still hasn't pooped. Her bg is fairly high too.. ugh! I think she's not pooping on purpose because she's afraid it will hurt and not eating because she didn't poop. The higher numbers are a combination of everything plus the meds & the little guy here all day. :YMSIGH:

Maybe she'll eat something in a little while and poop & feel better. She's acting very affectionate so probably doesn't feel too badly though. Poor Racci.

Marje, I love the Poop Cheerleaders!!! They're the greatest! :lol: I tried to show Racci but she wouldn't look. :-| I hope she listens to you. At least she ate after her shot so she may finally go since she had her second dose of Miralax and finally a decent meal.

That one sore of hers is so deep! Poor Racci is right. It hurts me to look at it. The powder makes it feel better though. I just claned her and put fresh powder on.

Poor Racci. That does sound miserable. Detective Poo is awaiting some action. Paws crossed.

YAY!!! Finally, a poop! :lol: I figured it wouldn't be long after she ate and had that 2nd miralax and I was right. Not only did she poop but she dove down to 50! I gave her some hc snacks with a nice lc meal since she hardly ate anything since this morning except that one meal with her shot. Hopefully her bg will be up again in a while so I can get some sleep. This is probably her nadir. Lately she's been going down again though towards the end of the cycle.. I always get up to feed her and gbtb if DH doesn't though.

It is miserable, Liz. They're weird tiny little sores like cross shapes, dry and not open but indents in her skin and as they get better they flatten out and dry up and peel and you can see that they were actually round and that was the middle. One of them is very deep and painful. The vet said they're from moisture and a type of staph infection. She's so chubby there and has that long thick fur I guess it makes her hot. I keep the house cool though. :?

Hi Melanie, thanks for visiting us last night! I zonked out early. Wow, a green already! I'm so glad Racci pooped. I have a chronic poop problem with Maggie, and I know how relieved it is to see those prezzies! :-D Only here can we talk in this lingo and be happy. Sending some healing vines for Racci's sores. Have a good night.

Isn't that funny how as soon as the poop comes out the bg goes down for Racci? Poor Racci is just so affected by being constipated!

Ann, it looked like Maggie was starting to have a problem like Racci's that why I suggested the Miralax 2x a day every day. I found with Racci the 1/8 tsp wasn't enough. She needed 1/4 tsp bid. It works really well for her. Sometimes she only needs 1/4 & 1/8. She goes 1-2 times a day. It's true, where else could we talk about their poops without everyone freaking out? :lol:

Helen, thanks for cheering Racci on! Yes, for the greens! Now let's get them going in the day instead of the night! :lol:
