Hello, I notice Monster has a lot of failed reductions. Is this normal? Also, when he drops quickly or drops when given insulin and food, is it possible the dose is too high? Thank you in advance.
I am no expert, but I think the fact that he eats dry food make it more difficult to regulate his numbers. He might also bounce, he's reacting to lower numbers his body is not used to anymore.
But still, his chart has more and more greens and blues and that's a good sign
Cecile is correct. It is harder to regulate when feeding dry. There’s no such thing as failed reductions with SLGS. it does look like he will need an increase but it’s just day 4/so see how the next 3 days go. He is bouncing from the low for him bg. He’s definitely not on too high a dose.
