@Angela & Cleo @Wendy&Neko - She hit 57 yesterday - do you think today's absolutely atrocious numbers are a combo of that and the amount of stress she was under from the vet visit? Seeing her so high all morning is just devastating.

It could be a combination of things: a fast drop, a lower than normal number, the vet visit. It's just one day. Try not to be discouraged. Kit is more than her numbers.

Oh my Alicia, I just read the vet day thread. Somehow I missed it. What an awful day you both had.
I’m glad it’s behind you both. So stressful for both of you.
(Why do some cats get so worked up and others are just fine???)
Ivy is a hot mess, too

It does seem Kit is bouncing from that 57. I’ll bet her whole system needs a recalibration after that entire vet visit day

Gosh, this is rough.
She did go through an awful lot of things yesterday, but stress-induced hyperglycemia typically goes away after a few hours. But it may be augmenting the whole bounce thing from the low green number (is it possible that she actually went lower than 57?). It is usually high for her. Hope she comes down soon - you must be stressed out!

Thanks all. She's still clinging to the reds. It's just so concerning for me because she's never had a streak of red in the entire time she's been diagnosed. It may have happened at the very beginning when I wasn't testing more than preshots, but

High yellow for PMPS - which I'm happy to see. I just hope the big drop from +8 to PMPS doesn't cause more wonkiness.

Oh poor Kit Cat, and poor you- the stress is enormous when our babies are so out of sorts. Glad to see blue today, (8/8) hope the worst is behind her, and will be praying for a good respiratory result. Hope today is a calmer day for you both.
