8/7 Gus AMPS HI/+3=506 (8/6 Fur Shot)

Poor Gus. Mama gave a fur shot last night and his BG went off the charts. We'll spend the day recovering today. He did OK at the vets yesterday. We'll hear the lab results on Monday, I guess. I bought Gus a food dish elevater. It's one of those trays that holds the dishes up so that the animal doesn't have bend ovwer so much in order to eat. I thought it would aid in digestion and just would be more comfortable for him, overall. It has a place for a food dish and a water dish. He likes it and I can tell just by looking, it's easier to eat and drink. Anything for my big boy! Hope everyone has a good day.

Right now I have Champ's food dish on a box to elevate it. Which dish did you get. If there's a link, post it for me so I can take a look. I've got to find something because I can tell it bothers him to hunker down to eat!!

I'm sure Gus has already recovered nicely from the dreaded fur shot last night!! These things happen!!
