Late in posting this migraine that will just not go away have had it now for over a week it will let up and then get worse again I think I am in rebound since I have taken so much meds lately since what meds I have are just not touching it so I have been in bed with a ice pack most of morning and can still not see good so hope to visit condos later I am behind in seeing how everyone is doing I had hoped to visit last night and then go to feeling so sick again anyway Do Lou is doing great all P's in place started out with a high yellow today but better then pink I increased him to 3.25 Lev this morning

+2 103 :-D hope he can keep this up without a big drop since I still am not sure how he and Lev get along yet

Sorry to read about your migraine. Glad Do Lou is giving you some nice numbahs! Hope he has a nice slow drop into some verra pretty greens! :smile:

Do Lou seems to like his Lev. Good numbers today, DL! Lisa, so sorry to hear about your debilitating migraine. Those headaches are really awful (I get them too, but yours sound much worse). Are yours weather-related? I find that whenever there is a fast drop or rise in atmospheric pressure I get a migraine. A friend of mine puts an ice pack under her bike helmet and wears it around all day. She swears by this! Anyway, feel better!

Yes weather is one of my many triggers and yes I use a ice pack a lot since I am going to have to try really hard to lay off meds since I have just taken so much in the last 2 weeks I do think this is also part of the problem but its hard to not take meds when you are having them every day the last 2 months have just been a bad stretch for me with my head.
Anyway back to Do Lou he seems to certainly be doing well tonight hope this surf continues

I hope your migraine clears soon. Do Lou's number certain should help to perk you up. He is doing really well.

So sorry about the migraines Lisa, I hope you feel better soon! I don't get them, but my nephews do and they actually have had to be home tutored because they are so bad.

Of all people, my hairdresser helped me with my headaches. I was having bad ones earlier this year, not migraines but really bad headaches. She recommended Aveda Blue Oil. You just dab it on your temples and 20 minutes later you can almost feel it drawing the pain out. When she suggested it I thought she was just trying to sell me something, but I bought it anyway because I thought the scent was relaxing. OMG it's amazing! I used it once when I had a migraine (minor one, not like yours) and it helped that too. I've never been on real drugs for headaches, just Excedrin or Tylenol, but this stuff allowed me to stop taking those. Turns out my headaches were blood pressure related, so when I got that under control the headaches went away. I still use the Blue Oil when I get stressed at work.
