3 days and I’m outta here till Monday! Whooo hooo DH will be in charge, doing only ss
Much deserved 4 days off
YEAH!!!

Did Luci by any chance share her candy with Bella too? It does seem that they're doing a lot together these days...I think we're going to have to watch them more closely! I swear she's off doing things at night when I'm asleep - surfing and finding contraband...if it isn't one thing with this girl, it's another!:facepalm:

Of course we are NOT doing the private overnight as it’s 1037.95!! Wow we are however doing a overnight just not a private one, there will be other people, my daughter, her friend and I

Sounds like fun. DH and I went to place I think it was in West Virginia. It was just a regular tour guide but we were the only ones. It was a mental hospital. It was famous for a doctor doing the most number of lobotomies in one day and anesthesia was not used. Also there was a murder there. A lot of it was still untouched. I swear I could hear screaming. There were writings and marks on the walls. The one thing that was fascinating was the records as to why some were committed. A husband could just admit his wife for ANY reason. I mention I was surprised there wasn't a cemetery in the grounds since most patients were admitted and abandoned by family. They said there was but the hogs normally dug up the remains. It was a self contained place where the food was grown and raised.

Oh my gosh! I'm so excited for you! That sounds like so much fun! Will DH be posting at all here (I remember you wondering to if you should have a weekend condo)?

That sounds amazing and awful all at once!

Actually @Sue and Luci volunteered to do a thread for bella, on sat, sun and mon, I can friday the day I leave, DH will do ss and he can see if anyone needs to tell him something, he says I got this lol I’m sure he does but I like him to have backup..cause when he is in doubt he text me, some of the time I won’t have phone service I’m sure, when I do I can look and I have my phone set up to be able to see the ss, he will have my IPad, when I get to my daughters sometimes I have service sometimes I don’t, she lives way out in the country. I’ve also called the vet should anyone need to go and told them I would take care of it when I get back. He took those days off so I wouldn’t go up there and just worry, ahhhhhh

Do you know why they didn't use anesthesia?

Because the patients couldn't remember anything afterwards...gruesome, huh?

No I don't know why. From what they said the patient was strapped to table and the went through the corner of eye with something that looked like the hook tool used by dentist and scraped the lobe.

My friend was just there!!! She had some crazy experiences. I used to be on a paranormal team and its so much fun! But I think I would lose my cool in a place like that. You'll have to tell us all about it when you get back

Nothing too dramatic unfortunately. A lot of what I was privvy too were EVPs on our recorder. But its pretty creepy when you are in a room having a conversation with 1 other person... and when you play it back, there's something, err, else there. One place, we got a breathy "mmmm hot fudge" while you can hear the team convening downstairs talkingabout fudge LOL. And later in that same room, a forceful "I HATE school" while my friend and I were chatting about homework and such. It was so crisp and clear, it took me awhile to accept it wasnt one of us. At another location, we caught a "i love fried chicken"... lots of food ones!!! Lol

One place... I was responsible for taking base photos of the rooms before we started, and I missed one spot. (Never fails.) When I went back up later to put a camera in the room (hours later), there was a big dog toy in the middle of the kitchen. Definitely wasn't in that room before. I got spooked and waited until a second team member came up there before going back in the room. Im still kicking myself about skipping the photo

Yes, that's right! My boss is a neurosurgeon - told me all about it...ugh...
They were commonly used to 'help control them' - the probe was placed between the sinus cavity and the orbital arch and inserted - stirred around a bit and afterwards the procedure the patients had little 'will' - to do anything, just sat quietly and didn't cause any more trouble...we used to joke about getting a free frontal lobotomy...but it was a gruesome practice and it was outlawed as inhumane later on...

I'm not interested in going to a place like that! There's enough crying & screaming going on here already! Don't need no more!:eek::eek::eek::D

I worked with a paranormal investigator. He showed me a video of one they did. They were talking to the owner of the house who was sitting in an easy chair. Later when they reviewed the tape you could see a women standing next to the chair. It was the deceased mother. I think I have to actually see it myself.
