No follow up pokey for Trix today since she started off so nicely. She has tired of Purina One again and is totally in a Fancy Feast mood these past few days...in general, her appy is pretty solid these days, but man-oh-man did she DIVE into that plate of Fancy Feast last night...it must be a REALLY good batch!

I don't have to report to the courthouse for jury duty today...phew. My number is 1180 and so far they've only called up to 180, with 181-340 having to check to see if they have to report this afternoon...I sooooo hope they don't suddenly decide they need a ton of jurors! Two more days to go, although they rarely call jurors in on Fridays...fingers crossed, anti-jinx.

I got home from work last night to find our second floor AC isn't working...boo. Fortunately, DH is very, very talented...he was able to diagnose the problem and order a part, saving us gobs of money. He can fix anything...in 20 years of living here, we've only had to call service once to fix the furnace. And nope, he doesn't work in the trades....he's a CNC programmer. The part will be here tomorrow, fortunately it's not excessively hot right now, and also fortunately our first floor AC is working just fine. The kitties are all sleeping in "the hot zone", though...all as flat as can be :lol: !

Keeping all of my amazing LL family in my thoughts and prayers...

Nice number for Trixie this morning. And how great that your jury number is so high!
Good luck with the air conditioner. I guess you need a/c in NJ now that we have global warming! I hope we never need to have it up here in the mountains.

What a great start for Trixie today. Wow - impressive! I bet she finds the greens today. :mrgreen: Very n ice too on the appy. it is great to read that she's eating so well. GO TRIXIE!

Bummer on the AC, but kudos to DH! How cool that he could figure out the problem. It always cracks me up when the kitties chose the hot zone to sleep in. Bug will do that here. 85 in the house and he's sleeping in the direct sun. silly cat.

Excellent on the jury duty. I think you may not be called. :-D

Ugh on the AC. It is great that DH can fix it though. Those handy guys are great to have around. Have a great day Amy!!
 
Nice start for Trixie this morning. I've never understood why kitties want to sleep in hot places with all that fur. I'm glad you didn't have to report for jury duty today. I'm glad your DH can fix the AC for you.
 
Nice AMPS today Trixie! As long as you keep those nice numbers, you sleep anywhere you want to!....LOL

You're truly lucky to have such a handy husband too! These days the air conditioner repair people are crazy busy around here and when they see a single woman who doesn't know anything more than how to turn the a/c on, they can really screw them over pretty badly on repairs.

Hope you're having a nice Wednesday and that the part for your a/c comes quickly (and isn't on backorder or anything...that's my usual luck)

Looks like you're going to escape jury duty too! All's well in the Trixie household! :-D

Nice job Trixie, no pokes till tomorrow. Great to hear about the good appetite. That's good that DH is handy; it saves a lot of money.

It didn't realize you got called for jury duty.
