Good Morning LL! Sliding down after the accidental MC yesterday!  The Marine layer is in in force today and Tess is snuggling up which is good since kitty cuddles are in order after the sad news of Maggie's passing. Hug your kittehs today and send comforting vines to Ann.

Suzanne asked last night about the bonsai show. The bonsai show was small, but the new site had a really good attendance. Lots of great food and the Taiko drumming group is getting really good. It was nice but small. Here's a pic of one of my trees, the other a little crabapple the pic was too blurry.

And since I was uploading pix here is one of Stu's rosemary after thinning. Emma inspected and gave her approval. (Sorry about the lens flare  .)

Nice blue Tess. Now for green! Love the pics. That is a cool bonsai. I've never seen one with the bigger leaves like that. Love the rosemary (and Emma). Have a great day Ann!

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O)

Nice recovery there for Tess. I like that +3. Well on her way to the lagoon. Right Tess? the lagoon? Go for it.

Your tree is beautiful. It is nice to read that although the show was small there was good attendance. YAY!

Ahhhhh.... Stu's rosemary bush. what memories that brings back.... rosemary for remembrance. That makes me smile. HI EMMA!

Good luck with your yard work. Can I hire you out? :-D

Hvae a great day today. Hope the marine layer dissipates, sun on the horizon....

Hi Ann, wow on Tess visiting the Green Lagoon. We had a heavy marine layer also this morning. That is an awesome bonsai tree! I love the rosemary, especially the special inspector kitty, Emma. Have there been any more groundmole gifting from Emma? :-D
Thanks for your good thoughts on Maggie here and for your warmfelt condolences on the loss of Maggie. It sure feels empty here.

Lovely numbers for Tess today - nice slide into greens :-D Hope she has a nice long safe surf for you. Have a great day!

THERE'S Bootiful GREEN Tess! Nice slide!

Oh what a neat bonsai. I always wanted one - first plant DH surprised me with was a neat bonsai which I promptly killed. I don't think it was even actually bonsai, I think it was a newly cut one.

BIG HUGS,

Yaaay Tess.....got your little toes in the lagoon today, good for you, pretty girl.

Lovely pics, Ann. I thought Rosemary (capitalized?), was a tiny plant, not a tree....wow.

Barb,  this was supposed to be the low spreading type! I actually bought a flat of it to use as a ground cover, needless to say it got a little out of hand. Imagine that plant times 5 and you'll have the amount that I pulled out! It roots where ever it touches the ground and I was literally yanking it out by the roots.

Lyressa & Melissa, I got hooked on bonsai 35 years ago when I lived in MN. It is any type of plant grown in a pot and shaped to tree form. This is a Japanese Maple, I've had it for over 30 years. Too many nurseries don't know a thing about it. They even glue stone over the top for ease of shipping and then wonder why the tree dies! ohmygod_smile

Ann, :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG: Maybe you can come up to visit and get away from everything, you are welcome anytime!

Hi guys,
That is a gorgeous bonsai, Ann. And Stu's rosemary bush is awesome. I can hardly imagine how big it must have been before you cut it back! Tess, please bring some of that rosemary to the Remembrance Party for Maggie tonight.

Glad the new pen is nice and potent.

Tess, I'll see you later. please bring Maggie's cheesecake recipe.
Rusty

Surfing the 60s!  Looks like a bust night for the beans!

Thanks on the bonsai! This is the tree I've had the longest, the rest of my first collection went off the roof in a tornado in MN. This was one of the few that survived, so she is a special baby!

Ella, Stu's Rosemary wa totally locking the sidewalks. I like how it looks now and I get to use the sidewalk again!
