She wound up eating quite a lot (for her) of Stella & Chewy's Duck Duck Goose last night - I gave her 2-3 crumbled pieces about every hour, so she wound up eating about 12 pieces, which is probably 1/3 of a day's total serving (just in terms of S&C).

This morning, I gave her a sampling of a few foods, including Sheba Cuts chicken, Sheba pate beef & chicken, Meow Mix turkey & giblets, and Weruva Chicken Fricka'Zee. She didn't want to eat off her own plate, but she did steal some beef & chicken from another cat's bowl. She probably ate about a tablespoon. She ate her post-test treat and then 2 pieces of Stella & Chewy's Turkey. Frustrating!

Good Lord Sunny you and my dog are cut from the same cloth!! I've spent 6 years playing dog food magician trying to find something he'll eat consistently but at least he'll eat for a week or two before snubbing it.

Well, I'm just glad that she seems willing to eat the S&C consistently, even if I have to offer it to her a few pieces at a time. But I can't do that during the day! :sad: Again, if anyone knows of a stellar work-from-home job.... :lol:

Lol I have one but the hours and pay sucks. Wife and fur mom. Hours are from 5 a.m. to midnight 7 days a week, no weekends or holidays off. No sick days. But does come with oodles of love and affection. The Fur mom is the easy part its the wife part that can be a real pita. Lol

Hahahaha! I gave up on the "wife" thing years ago! :roll: Now I'm just Fur Mom...but I do have to support myself somehow! Alas. Maybe I should change my mind and go looking for a sugar daddy! :lol:

After my first marriage I was pretty sure I was allergic to it. And certainly didn't expect this guy to be The One since he was my first boyfriend in High School back when we rode dinosaurs. Exes are exes for a reason ya know? But how do you turn down a guy that not only are your cats willing to ignore you and food for but also asks their permission to propose to you. Then asks them first if its okay for him to be their daddy. I was smitten.

In the 7 years since we've been married I've seen him cradle new born kittens to bottle feed them, sleep on the floor with Autumn when she was too weak to jump on the bed. Leave work to rush home to hold Onyx when we said our final good byes. Now if he would just stop being such a foster failure lol If it gets its paws across the threshold its staying. :roll:

Tonight's number could have been a food spike, because she actually ate dinner! I picked up some Verus chicken & liver, and she almost inhaled it! Simon-cat didn't want his portion, so I offered it to her later, and she ate almost all of that! So she's eaten maybe a little over half a 5.5 oz can tonight. Whee! I'm afraid to run out and buy a bunch more, though, since she seems to like something one day and hate it the next. And Verus is almost $2/can.
