I decided to have a piece of cheese cake today (one of my few sinful addictions), and was reminded how much Sammy loves dairy of any kind. She chased me from room to room, and was jumping back and forth from the coffee table to the couch arm! She hasn't been this active in months :-D

I gave in and gave her a tiny piece of cheddar cheese, which she loved (no, not the cheese cake!). I figure it's not ok to give her milk (I really miss my morning cereal), but what about yogurt or cheese? Is it ok to give a tiny spoonful or tidbit occasionally?

Thanks to everyone who visited Sammy's condo yesterday. Sammy is so pleased with all the attention. She sends purrs and vines to all those who need them.

I don't know about the dairy question. I've seen some here use yogurt as a way to bring kitties up when they wouldn't eat gravy. But that may have been more of a "eat something to stabilize lower numbers" thing.
 
Thank you Jennifer, Amy, and Angela! Sammy had a long lazy day today. We had thunderstorms and rain all day, with stifling humidity. Sammy laid in front of the window on the cool tile by the door, watching for our outdoor feral calico to stop by.

It's late here, yawn, so I'm heading to bed. Good night and have a great day :-D
