WCR: slept on my pillow what I believe was all night which is unusual for her, normally her spot is to the right of my pillow. Guess she thought she deserved to be up on a pedestal!

Unfortunately in our sleep deprived state of minds last night the way she kept creeping up, we stopped checking at +5 and wound up with a pink amps :YMSIGH: I feel like she went much lower and then bounced back up to this pink this morning but it's done and over with now. We are going to shoot through this to help keep her on track, but are you all saying on the next reduction we should do a full .25, not anymore skinny's or fats? I have to admit I'm confused on what you mean by getting ahead of the shed?

And thanks for the compliments on the cake, the contest goes until the 18th so hopefully I can maintain the lead until then!

Sorry I can't help you with the dosing..I'm too new, but I can add to not having any pillow last night...
After making biscuits on my pillow for what seemed like forever Savannah plopped herself on my pillow, of course, her butt was in my face. I think she was getting back at me for waking her up all week. I finally let her sleep thru the night w/o any ear poking and I actually got some rest too, despite her butt being in my face. :-D

sleep, its so good isn't it? I slept the night away too and Tray is also in the pink. Hope Mocha clears the bounce

That's exactly what Libby and I were saying -- today is time for a 0.25u decrease. Mocha's shed is over filled. It's why she keeps dropping below 40. Taking the full decrease will, hopefully, slow this down a bit and keep Mocha in green numbers, just not quite as green.

The worst that can happen with the reduction is that you will go back up if it doesn't hold.
The worst that can happen if you keep giving her too much is that you won't get any sleep.

thanks everyone, Sienne, once I had peter read what you and libby suggested he explained it to me ... I don't have any problem admitting I'm a dunce when it comes to this stuff! We shot through this morning on a (S)2.5 so tonight if she is back down to a lower number we should shoot a (F)2.25, correct? Do you think she is ready for that? I really hate doing reductions because she just can't seem to hold them. I know I always say that and somehow these last few times she has proved me wrong. I wish it was as easy as picking a dose, knowing she can hold it, and just be done with this guessing game.

I did however check out Randi and Max's SS and all I can say to that was :shock: When max wanted OTJ he wanted it BAD! I cant believe how fast it happened for them once he went blue/green especially cause he was on such a high dose at one time. I guess we can't underestimate the will power of these little creatures.

thanks guys ... now we will see how well she holds this reduction ... she ate MC at her +1 in hopes of "floating" her
 
I'm glad Libby stopped by to answer your question. I actually went out and did something social for the evening! Great numbers for Mocha tonight. Sorry I wasn't around to see all that green surfing.
