She surfed like a champ last night!:D

So I did make a syringe yesterday, with colored water in, I used the one with the zero line closest to the top, and it's on 2.75U.
Today I dosed from that syringe, disregarded the lines on the syringe I was going to use. On today's syringe she only got a little above 2U, but 2.75U on the other.
Did I do it right?
Oh well, time will tell I guess
But it's scary how big the difference is!

Definitely!

You did it right for consistency, and yes, time will tell if that one dose you fixed is the one working for Mauer or not. But reducing the day to day variation should improve things in the long run! :bighug:
I hope so! It would be awesome to get some consistency. This up and down party is becoming a bit old :p

Hoping the new way of measuring helps you! That was pretty clever, loading one with colored water and using that as your guide.

Insulin is such a scary hormone holy crap.

Do you mean you just held the one syringe up next to the other and eyeballed it... compared the two? Or were calipers involved somewhere in this operation. I think I need to move to calipers.

I have seen a .5 unit difference in the printing between syringes. Some of them are even printed crookedly. Consistency is key.

Work that juice, Mauer! Mama spent a lot of time dosing that for you!

Exactly
Maybe I'll get a digital caliper at some point. But I get why it's easier!

Exactly. She's a bit higher today. So maybe it was off? Or she's bouncing a bit? Pmps is in 50 minutes, and I'm pretty excited to see what she gives me today :nailbiting:
