Yesterday was a great day for Mannie - a very nice green AM cycle, an equally nice PM cycle. It was nice to be able to control the AM cycle with a 7% food. :-D :cool: This morning is a little bit of a surprise. I had hoped that with a nice blue cycle last night that we had avoided the bounce. It appears that we have not, checking in with "that color" and a 333. I am hoping that the +2 is just a food spike. Mannie? Back down you go, OK? Great job yesterday - lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :cool: I ha shifted the nanner pile yesterday, to make them a little less accessible to DGS. Early last night I found Mannie gently shoving them back :lol: :lol: Seems that the Nanner King did not like the new location... so back to their spot they are. Guess he told me, huh: don't mess with the nanners. :shock: :roll: :razz: He's been reclaiming his property ever since. We had a good test feed and shoot this morning, a very quiet one. The kitty choir was strangely absent :o :o ... I only had one tiny bellow form lead singe BJ, who was waiting at the top of the stairs... Elsa was MIA all together, Mannie was way to busy with the nanenr pile to be bothered.... wow, and what is up with that? and no whacking either! I am in withdrawal.... :? :? :lol: They are just waited, silently, for me to dish up fuds, ate once served, and then retired to their respective napping corners. WOW! civility! Hmmmmmm.... I wonder what has gotten into the furkids. :lol: :lol: :lol: Yep... per the furkids, all is well in mannieLand.

I need a new scanner... seems my old one's software program is not Win7 compatible. carp! and the manufacturer does not have an upgrade-able driver to make it work, which is a shame, as the scanner still works...... so scanner hunting I am. Michelle, don't get me started on computer issues :shock: I am going to put my laptop out in the driveway for garbage pickup one of these days.

OK, Mannie.....out of that pink color....as handsome as you are, pink is not a good color for you....now blue and green, excellent colors!

Sorry to hear about the scanner, Michelle....hate when thinks are not compatible! Have you thought about getting and all-in-one (printer, scanner, copier)? I did that when I got my new computer and my scanner wasn't compatible....very happy that I did.....Have a great weekend!

Hey Mannie, I'm ready for the party and I've got my Camp grillin' stuff all packed. What a great menu! And of course we'll party some more at Camp Stu after the party. Some of the gang are here already and we're going to swim and fish until we leave for Canada. Come here first and get in a swim. It will drop your bgs!

Hi Michelle, I don't envy you with the computer thing! My laptop is slow and needs a cleanup job, but I'm afraid of messing things up, so will probably contact my Computer Tech guy to check it out for me. He originally set everything up for me. What is up with the no kitty choir and no whacking. Did they all have a rough night with it being Friday night! :lol: Oh and better not mess with those nanners either! I hope soon Mannie clears his bounce as he always does; probably the +2 is a food spike.

Yes they are just bounces and Mannie has improved so amazingly!!! He just wanted the day off to prepare for the party!!!

I can just see him slowly moving his nanner pile back to where he wanted it. It must have taken him all night...he was probably too tired to wake you and do his fud dance or whack BJ or Elsa :lol: :lol: :lol: It's a lot of work!!! I hope they all get some outside time today and you get a new scanner!! FUN FUN!!

Mannie!! I got mixed up, too. I thought today was Junior's party!! Yikes!! But I've been making Maple Leaf Martinis for Cow's party...just about done and Tobey and I are headed out! See you soon.

sorry about the scanner.... I had the same thing happen when I bought my first vista computer... my perfectly functioning lexmark printer/scanner/copier was suddenly useless because they didn't make a driver for it. I've refused to buy lexmark products ever since. Had TWO different ones that were the same brand (one mine, one my sisters) that unceremoniously stopped working as printers... should have kept them as scanners!! Alas, now I just do my scanning at work and just have a sturdy brother laser printer for home.

Hi Sherry - YAY: looks like he is reading his condo again - he has done as you requested: out of the pinks. YES!!! and thx on the scanner thing. Yeah, I had thought of the all-in-one. The computers here are all networked, and there is an all-in-one on DH's computer... way back with the old 'puter I had I had such problems with its ability to find the printer+ on the network, so I gave up, and got a stand alone printer... scanner I already had. I am toying with the idea of trying once again with this 'puter to see if it can find and print to that all-in -one. just dunno.... it just may be the way to go though.... :? :-D

Hi Ann, and Miss Maggie - i know on the computer stuff - I am no expert, and struggle with some of this stuff. I am grateful for my DSIL who is really good at it, and can bail me out when I mess things up. :roll: :cool: :cool: - weird on the kitties today - maybe they wanted a day off. :lol: :lol: I think so on the +2. He's come down alot, so that is good. funny on the nanners, huh.

Hi Christie - I know - sheshhh! He has turned it around, so hopefully he will stay off the pink floor for the rest of the day. paws crossed!! oh yeah on the comparability thing - drives me nuts!! and this is HP - they are supposed to be good. They have drivers up through XP only, no vista, no win7. I can get the scanner to work, it will save the image, but I can't find anyway to work with the image... any program that I have can't find the saved image - which is just stupid. well.... will do some playing with this thing and see what I can find to work with the images... while I hunt for a scanner. a royal pain. :-x :-x
