Morning everyone!
The dreaded bounce has hit, and when I saw it this morning, I looked right at Lou (I was still applying pressure to his ear) and said "Talk about an overreaction!" I am not surprised that he bounced, but I was hoping, after having so many active cycles, that he'd maybe just not do it so dramatically, haha.:p At the end of the day it was a memorable weekend. He had 4 active cycles in a row, 3 to the lagoon and almost as picture purrfect as I could want them. I sincerely hope this is an indicator of more to come, not a one-off. Obviously Lou wanted a pokie break, and perhaps to visit his "beloved" pinks/reds again. Hopefully the bounce doesn't last too long.

I'm back to work today (boo hiss!). I feel much better, but the cough will probably take another week or two to go away (ugh!). I only have two days to work this week, so hopefully I can make it through with little issue. :p I hope you all have a marvelous Monday and your kitties stay safe out there!!

Won't we be glad when they stop that silly bouncing? Looks like Lou had a good day yesterday... :D:D Hope he'll get more familiar with the lagoon and come on back soon!:bighug:

I hope Lou clears the bounce soon. I'm glad you're feeling better. I hope the cough goes away soon. Sending prayers.

I swore the bounce from "longer time that I am used to in good numbers" was worse than the other causes of bounces. :banghead: At least the timing is good with you working.

Thank you so much ladies! I think you are all miracle workers! He's already back down to the blues this evening and I'm feeling almost right as rain (except for the cough of course :p)

I think you might be right! He rarely bounces into the 400s, so it does feel more extreme. I have this vision in my head of him trying to hold on to the greens/lagoon: "I just. can't.. hold. on..." and then it gets ripped out of his paws and he gets flung up into the reds. Thankfully for everyone, he's back down in the blues. Ahh, my rainbow kitty.:cat:
