So I was very down this morning that we started the day in reds which hasn't happened in a long time.
However, I think I soon discovered the culprit. One of the civvies apparently jumped up on top of a cabinet where a bag of "kitty crack" was stored and ripped holes into it and a pile was on the floor. Didn't discover this until after his shot, when I saw him messing with something in the floor aand discovered a pile of dry food and he was munching away, so I figured he'd been eating crack overnight while everyone was asleep.
But at least I can see movement today and he hit a blue.

They can be such sneaky little devils!!
Glad you found the culprit!
I am sure the numbers will get better now
have a great night!

I think they can find the kitty crack anywhere in the house! I had a bowl in the microwave a few weeks ago when one my civvies wasn't eating, the other civvie's smelled it I guess, you should have seen them trying to get in that microwave!

I have to hide the dry food in sealed containers in the pantry -- and keep doors closed because they will try to get lids off otherwise! My Siamese would have no trouble whatsoever getting onto a cabinet and into a bag. If there is food around, he'll find a way! He still hasn't figured out how to turn a regular doorknob, though. ;-) I did have a flamepoint Himalayan rescue years ago that could open doors with the pushdown handles. I even had to put childproof locks on cabinets because he'd keep at them until he could hook his paws around the edge and open them either to just look (curious) or to get into things (food, toys). He was really, really smart -- and persistent!
