Say no to the lower jaw removal, you don't want it done. Neko had a bump on her lower jaw that the dental vet thought was an osteocarcinoma and he had me "prepared" for the worst. He told me cats don't do well with the jaw removal surgery. Thankfully Neko's growth was benign, an acro bony growth. Vet was 99% sure it was cancer, which is why we had a biopsy done after the bump was removed. I was a wreck for a week until the biopsy results came back. Neko lived another 1.5 years after that, her passing had nothing to do with the growth. He said it's cancer & all the signs point to Squamous cell oral cancer.
just thinking?
