Ok, sitting back and wondering how the night will play out. Praying for a dull night of high numbers so I can catch up on the last two night's of drama. Glad he does this at night when I am home, instead of during the day when I am working. But perhaps every OTHER night instead of every night maybe?

Was almost afraid to look after the last two night's numbers. But +3 was 97 (phew...). Still time to come down further, but so far so good.

I feel like I am coming down with a cold. Probably lack of sleep. And I just got over one too.... :-x

Thanks Marje. I took a couple of Cold-eze hoping to head it off at the pass. He's still dropping. AND - I gave him his usual can of reg LC food at +3. So that drop is even WITH a whole can of food. Gonna try to stay up and do another test at 3a (+6) to see if he goes down more for another reduction. Is that bad or should I be doping him up with carbs right now as we speak???

Oh yeah, and he's rejecting his treats again. I HATE it when he does that!!!

Tonya, we don't usually recommend reductions so close together. It takes a few cycles for the depot from the previous dose to be drained, so you are probably seeing action from the depot of the old higher dose. Since he isn't going to be earning a deduction tonight, and it's still before nadir, I would be giving him something a higher carb and testing in 30 minutes after that 48.

Tiki - please behave and come up now.

Thanks Wendy! Just gave him a spoonful plus of some HC Gravy Lover's Chicken FF. I almost think he keeps throwing me these low numbers cuz he loves the carbs he keeps getting. It must be like a plate full of donuts to him. LOL
