Last night's preshot was already green, and although Papaya didn't dip any lower than 67 (as far as I know) she seemed to be headed up pretty quickly after that reading at +4. It seems Mr. Liver was not pleased with all the green and has given us a bounce again. These quick bounces don't worry me too much because Papaya is still feeling fine - purry and wanting tummy rubs. Plus they seem to clear pretty quickly. Papaya was making me nervous staring at me yesterday evening - the "I'm going to eat you" stare, but it turned out she was just very interested in the loose leaf mint tea I was drinking. I fished out a couple leaves for her which she ate with gusto - maybe she was concerned about her wet-catfood-breath!
Akilo, I'm SO glad you stopped by Papaya's condo yesterday! I was really worried about Dumdum since I knew he was having trouble with ketones and then his spreadsheet just stopped. Phew, glad he is OK and that the change in insulin is working for him. With Papaya feeding her food with a little bit higher carbs (9%) is really helping to level out the cycles. Every cat is different!
