Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) and I need a dozen of these this morning........

PJ parties can be exhausting! :-D , but Mannie and I gave it our best shot last night, and boogied well past the witching hour. Well, late enough where I felt his ear and my bod deserved a rest. Quite the day for him yesterday - a nice blue and green surf for almost all of the day. We did bounce this morning - a 329. bummer on that, but expected after those numbers in the 40's and all the HC he consumed last night....

He's in good spirits this morning - breffis #1and #2 consumed - member of the clean plate club. Cat nip toys have all been slobbered on and chewed and rolled in. He is camped out now by the screened open window, surveying the premises, getting all kinds of sniffs - the nose sure is twitching this morning. :lol: :lol: Makes me wonder what went through the yard last night. In a few he will get his chance to patrol and secure the outside perimeter. Normalcy in Mannie-land, with so many purrs.

I hope for slow descent today - I need to be gone, again, for a while this afternoon, to help my son removed old carpeting and begin a hardwood floor refurbish, oh joy of joys, but it will be nice to hang out with the kid for awhile...

Thanks Ella - I think it will be good. The kid is trying to fix up the place, the carpet is really ugly, and well, first section removed revealed really nice hardwoods. so - should be great when done... I love discovery - ya never know what you will find.

Have fun with the floors, lots of work but hardwood is so beautiful!

Wow, that was some night for you, Mannie, but all theat ear poking was worth it for those numbers. At least you can sleep today, your mama has to go play with floors.

Hey Moonie - I was thinking the same thing! cat(2)_steam a hairball ought to do it - was about to let one go when there was this big dog and cat fight right outside my window perch. :shock: that drooler was toast! the hairball was second rate after that... oooooooo, and watch out for your bean - they are so sneaky! 349 @ +4. looks like a pink day today - move over Shadow - you have company on that floor....

I think I shall take advantage of a pink surf, take a morning walk to the coffee shop, then head on over to my sons... sounds good to me!

Great surf for Mannie last night, how nice of him to give you an easy morning. I'd take a nap before heading out to strip carpeting. Work is more over rated than sleep. Get it while you can.

And the pink surf continues... 361 @ PMPS.

And I hope I never see a hardwood floor again... well maybe. we got all the carpet removed - amazing all the staples and nails and boards that they used to put the carpet in. Nice to find wood floors that were in decent shape. So -- repaired a little, cleaned, buffed, looks really good, and left as is - He can decided if it is worth the expense to strip completely and refinish. Not a bad days work - but I bet I feel this at days end...

and as much as I hate pinks, I am grateful to a kitty who held the surf. He knows when I will be away, saves "the good stuff" for when I am home. cat_pet_icon As silly as it may be it is nice to think that we can work as a team.

Mannie has left for the party for Heart, grillin' tools in tow, and HOPES that Stu has a green apron for him - he is so embarrassed to be in pink.... HAPPY OTJ PARTY Heart!

wow, a flat pink day for Mannie....at least you didn't have to worry! That's a bit of a relief, especially after a day like yesterday!

Hi Ella! :lol: :lol: Yeomen duty says it well. It came out well, considering it wasn't a total refinish. - cleaned really nice. now to rest some, waiting to see what my boy has in store for me tonight.... nailbite_smile

oh they are all good! I like the 3 on the couch one and the pillow fight.... all great!

Mannie seems to be slowing some - might be the HC kicking in, but still glad to see the slowdown. he just dives way too much and too fast.

oh i wish... but not quite. 114 @ +5, a small drop... @ +3 he was fed HC, at +4 it was LC. went with the HC at +5 - I hope to get to flat... no more dives.....

96 @ +6. fed some HC, will catch a few ZZZZzzzzz's and recheck Mannie in a bit.

boy am I tired... will leave some food out for Mannie just in case I am really zonked.
