Maggie was desperate to be fed, so she was squirmy while I was trying to prick. One ear refused to bleed, so I switched to the other. A little blood welled up, but it wasn't enough for the test strip, and the meter threw an error. Eventually I got it right and Maggie got fed. Whew, it's too early for this!

I used to have those days. Haven't had one in a while thank goodness. He's still squirmy, but has realized that I will chase him down and he doesn't get food until I get the reading. He is a very calm understanding kitty most of the time though, so I am very lucky!
