Greetings everyone to everyone in Lantus Land :-D

Just a quick WCR on Gobbles: All 8 P's are in place and he got trashed this morning on his organic catnip. At the rate he's going, I don't know if he'll have any left for The Reunion!

He's needy as a beggar; lots of kisses, purring and has taken to gracing my daughter on her trips to the bathroom with TP patrol. This morning he wanted in the bottom drawer of my dresser so I partially emptied it out and threw most of my shirts in a corner. He was outta there in about 3 minutes. Then he decided to charge around the house like a Mastercard, terrorizing his drooler, fur sister and toy mice.

All is well here: have done a little boating, met Buffo The World's Strongest Clown at the local county fair this past week (and got a picture to prove it AND his autograph), listening to the corn grow and helping my daughter get ready for her move back to college next week.

Have a great week everyone. Prayers for Jamie & Jupiter, Carl & Bob (and I'll browse the board to see if anyone else needs prayer) :mrgreen:

Lol, your math was easy. Wait till 2016 when you have to remember to add 24 hours to account for a leap year :lol:

I'm just wondering how they determine World's Strongest Clown? Is there like a tournament every year? How freaking scary would THAT be?

Blueberry Cheesecake Delight sounds fantastic (I really don't know what you and Kelly are talking about). But, are you bringing some to the reunion :lol:

That would be freaking scary and nighmare-ish to be sure, Carl. I should of asked Buffo that question...here's an excerpt from his website (www.buffo.com):

OMG--so is my son!!! I send him a "Clown Of The Day" picture text daily. In fact, the 8x10 color picture I bought from Buffo is autographed: "To Nick, Hugs & Kisses, Buffo WSC 8/3/13". After he autographed the picture, Buffo asked me how old my boy was and I told him "26"; he thought that was funny! :-D Nick's moving into a new apartment this weekend so I'm gonna frame it and give it to him as his housewarming present (along with a batch of peanut butter criss-cross cookies) :lol: The photo of Buffo and myself was his COTD text on Saturday :lol:

ETA: he's not as "buff" as he appears on his website--though still has some gunnish biceps!!!
 
Oh! Kat! So HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY for you & Gobbles! You must feel like you've died and gone to heaven to have your "life" back! God only knows you deserve it! And, the weather is great right now, agree?

Hi Bern--I see you're a fellow DD fan--best show on earth :lol: It is good to not have to test, test, test and stress, stress, stress...while I guess I still DO stress a bit about Gobbles; he's always been the handful. And yup! This weather is truly purr-fect; the 70 degree weather outweighs swimming--I do stress out though, about all the $$ we spend on chemicals and 24 hour filtering; not a bad thing if you can swim!!! And we've had a problem with cloudy pool water since the acres and acres of field corn behind us started breeding pollen, and have spent a ton of money on supplemental chemicals :-x I'm sure next year the farmer will rotate his crops--we had no cloudy water problem when he was growing soybeans....At this point, I'm ready to just winterize the pool and cover it.... :lol: Thanks for the visit!!!

The only thing I saw the dog do (at the show) was lie on the stage and wish Buffo would make him dissapear :lol:
 
I'm gonna skip over the clown thing...they don't scare me, per se, but they are just creepy.

Glad to see Gobbles is being Gobbles!!!

And I would pay double if he did that while standing on two bowling balls :lol:

Hi Dyana! The 8 P's are the regular 5 P's, plus: being PATHETIC , being a PITA (pain in the ass) and getting PAPER (taking toilet paper off the roll for me in the morning). Kelly and I are both vapers (we vape flavored nicotine) and Blueberry Cheesecake Delight is the flavor I'm vaping today :lol: I'll be bringing my "pipe" aka e-cigarette to The Reunion--I never leave home without it! As for the corn growing sound--it sounds like whatever you want it to sound like--I tend to hear a low, crunchy type of noise lately...or maybe that's the deer and raccoon ravishing it... :lol:

Now that'd be something!!! But he is Buffo, so he may be able to pull it all off :lol:
 
Hi Kat. Great to hear from you and get an update on Gobbles. Love the "+2016 62" but whose counting-right :lol: Sounds like Gobbles has adapted to no pokes and no insulin quite well.

Have fun getting your DD ready to return to college and enjoy listening to the corn growing.
 
It's great to see Gobbles doing well!

Hopefully the move back to college goes well. And nothing big or little is left behind. Small things you can mail of course but the big things, much harder to get them there.
