Gosh! Has it been that long!?! So much has happened…

Cosmo is doing well, still the same - bouncy, hardest kitty to regulate :banghead:, but happy, active and in good spirits! :) Every time we think we want to increase, he takes a deep dive and makes us hold the course. And…then the bounces…
He has been going on more and more leash walks around the patio. Sometimes 3-4 times per day! The extra exercise usually precede a good drop, but good for his muscles and impressive considering his arthritis :cat:

As for us…some big changes happening - I finally resigned from my job that was burning me out. Finally choosing my well being feels fantastic! For those that know and have been following us, it seemed like I was always working…and I was :( So…I moved on, and decided to take all of August off! I start my new job in September and we are moving to Vancouver Island at the end of this month! :) DH, Cosmo, Jasper (civvie) and I are pretty excited! Hopefully the kitties enjoy the ferry ride!

other than that, we have been Olympic obsessed and cheering on from the couch ;) Every Olympics we like to think we can take up competitive sport again at our old age! Haha.

Hope everyone is well!

I was just snooping Cosmo's spreadsheet today. Maybe you felt it? :p I had noticed his love of the rainbow of colours.

Congrats on the career change and life style change. And move too! Guess that means finding a new vet again.

You are never too old for competitive sport. You just might not make it to worldwide TV.

Thanks Wendy! :bighug: We appreciate you checking in on us! (Thank goodness I updated his SS today!;))

I have my eyes on taking up kayaking or canoe sprints :p As a former gymnast, I have the shoulders for it. :)

Great part of the island. A little more laid back than here. :) I know Nanaimo is your closest rowing spot, don't know if they have kayaking or canoe sprints there. Big club on Burnaby Lake if you want to contact then and see if they know anyone over on the island. I have seen some on the Gorge waterway. Whether or not you are serious about it, being near the water gives you lots of options.

Yes! I am looking forward to that!

Thanks for the info on my new sport options! Hope you have been enjoying the rowing! The one where the person sits in the front yelling at everyone is an appealing option too! I’m not sure my old creaky body could keep up, but a girl can dream :)

Hi! Nice to see you, Tanya. I'm glad Cosmo is doing well in spite of holding the title of Hardest Kitty to Regulate:cat:. Congrats on the move! I love visiting Vancouver Island and would move there in a heartbeat. Enjoy your new digs.
More important, congrats for choosing your well being:bighug:. I am thrilled to hear you decided to put YOU first, given how you were clearly burning yourself out. Wishing you much happiness in your new job:bighug:.

Did you catch the women's football gold medal match this morning??? Bit early for you. It was sooooo exciting to watch our team win Gold!:woot::woot::woot:

Hi Tanya :bighug: congratulations on taking time for yourself and the upcoming move! I can’t wait to hear how the kitties enjoy the new digs :cat::cat: Easy does it Cosmo!
