Yesterday's Condo

For anyone who may have missed it, two videos of Willie in yesterday's Loose Lips condo!

Promising start for Willie, especially after only rising 15 points after +5 last night. Breffis eaten with gusto in two parts, bath taken and now it is btb for him! I do think he has a bit of the sniffles, so he's getting L-Lysine now. Cooler day today and possibly some rain, though much is going (as always it seems these days) both just north and just south of me. A break from the heat will at least be nice, though.

Your videos were adorable! I watched them each a couple of times while I was up last night. Willie is looking good today! Hope you enjoy your cool down and get some rain! Paws crossed.

Hi guys .. Yes, a very promising start to the day for willie .. mid blues could lead into some nice greens before the day is over .. I hope you get some of the rain and some of the cooler weather .. have a great day guys!

Mending my patient pants as they are getting WORN OUT. No idea what happened this morning, but it appears to be a third cycle of high, flat blues. Which is certainly better than yellow and pink, but isn't the greens that we had such a lovely streak of. I may have to experiment more with food this weekend. The higher numbers not only coincide with the insulin going wonky, but also the change to the raw diet. Might get some cans of BG and Wilderness and see if they bring him down. If it is the food, we'll bump the insulin if needed, as I'm seeing other positive changes as a result of the switch back to raw. The main surprise change is that not only is he even softer than before (and everyone who visited recently was already commenting how much softer and fluffier he was than any cat they'd ever owned or even met!), but his dandruff is completely gone. I just groomed him last night, and he shed much more easily than before, and the fur had absolutely no flakes whatsoever. That hasn't been the case for at least 10 years!! So if I have to work insulin doses around the raw, then so be it.

Okay, off to bed for us... ni ni everyone!
 
what a great report on willie, even if his numbers are a little higher than you like. sounds like he feels good inside and out!
