What a day yesterday. :-D Mannie has been BLUE for so long... yesterday was a treat - GREEN as far as the eye could see: back to back green cycles. SWEET!   Although I do have to admit that I could have done without that 55 at PMPS. It was really nice  , but omg  ! Down almost 30 points from his +10 :o  . I knew it would be a busy night  . Good thing I had no plans...  We did ok with the fuds I think. The choices made seems to work to keep him in the 80's during the beginning of the cycle. I felt good about that... I just remember hoping that all the carbs wouldn't send him into "B" city.... Well done last night Mannie - your bean is proud of you! cat_pet_icon We did bounce a little this morning, to "that color", but it is a low one, so I hope that he will bring that down throughout the course of the day. Go Mannie! :-D

All is well in MannieLand, despite the day before being a poke-a-thon. He as funny - all I had to do was go into the kitchen where all the test stuff is and he'd show up before I even got started... what a guy! He really does make this all so easy - even on days when I am sure he wishes I'd just go away.... or have a senior moment and forget what I was doing... or grab the wrong cat... or change my mind...  Our days have been sunny and warm - really nice! Interesting that Mannie has chosen to be indoors. The nanners get a security check (especially when DGS is here  ), then off to nappus. This was cute: the LR windows are floor to ceiling, wall to wall, with openings at ground level. With the warmer days I have had them open. Mannie managed to drag his bed a foot or so to the window edge, where he has been sleeping, breezes travel over his fur. Contentment reigns supreme.   Things are fairly mellow here this morning. The kitty choir, all three of them, made sure I was awake - nicely, quietly, gently. What is up with that? Where were the bellows and the claws and the set noses? I got up before they changed their minds, We had a successful and good test feed shoot, with a ton of purrs. Clean plate club followed, nappus on the nanners followed immediately after. Normalcy in MannieLand. Life is indeed good....

Have a good day everyone. Today I continue my DGS sitting duties through Friday. I will try and get to condos, but really doubt that I can. Maybe in the evening... Do know that I am thinking of you all, even if I can't visit. Think GREEN kitties!! DGS and I are headed to the low elevation level lake after his morning breffis - it should be sun!

Kitties!! Do you believe it???? What a party we ha last night for Simon - YES!!! Kitchen krew you were just the bestest ever! Sweet , huh! We are off to chillax at Rusty's today - camp stu here we come!! I hope we can do some fishin'.... we needs to put the finishing touches on the upcoming OTJ parties too.... See you guys! OH! I almost forgots! Thanks Rusty for the midnight swim last night at camp after the party... it was so cool. can we come again tonight? ~~ Mannie

Re: 8/4 Mannie AMPS 312

What a night you had. It is amazing how trained they get to have their ears poked. Sparky gets excited when ever I take out the testing kit, even with 2 years OTJ!
Hope you see some nice green today.

Re: 8/4 Mannie AMPS 312, +2 278

Morning Michelle and I see Mannie kitty is already coming down, so I bet you will see a nice cycle. So cute how he moves his bed closer to the breezy window. Nice to see the kitty choir back in action, too. Have fun with DGS today, any hikes or walks?

Hey Mannie, your menu was outstanding for Simon's OTJ party, as well as all who brought fuds. Are we off to Camp Stu, oh boy, sounds like fun. I'm ready to go and see ya soon, Maggie

Re: 8/4 Mannie AMPS 312, +2 278

Mannie you are such a green boy yesterday, & I know you will be again today!
Hope that green returns today--Michelle, you have some terrific energy to stay up all night with him--
When I sleep(as little as that may be) I could not wake up & test her, I'm too groggy-so I'd rather stay awake late-
So I'll be checking to see when Mannie comes down to green later today--
Big Hugs & lubs from us!

Mannie that party was great & we saw all the GAs in the clouds, with Barb's Woo Ton right in front with Copper & Butthead & all the others! --and we sang to them and they all smiled at us! We know they are protecting us!--More parties to come!! Hugs from Me Moonie--I got that vet stink off me finally today!

Re: 8/4 Mannie AMPS 312, +2 278, +3 240

Have a great day with DGS!

Mannie...what's up for today...hammock sitting? Sounds good to me. I gots more juice today so you know what that means....soon it will probably be more pokeys like you had yesterday.. Ugh.

Re: 8/4 Mannie AMPS 312, +2 278, +3 240

Not such a bad bounce after all those greens yesterday. Are you exhausted, Michelle?? Enjoy the day with Nicholas. Mannie can spend the day here with Rusty and the gang, chillaxin in those kitty-sized hammocks that Tess found.

Have a good one,
Ella & Rusty

Great foods at Simon's party last night, Chef Mannie! Boy did we have fun. See you later at camp. We're going to try out the new hammocks Tess found and pick blueberries. Swim at midnight again?
Rusty

Re: 8/4 Mannie AMPS 312, +2 278, +3 240

Mannie!!! What the heck are you doing up there? You were doing so well this last week with all the back to back blues without bouncing. Oh well i'm sure you'll clear that in no time. So adorable that he dragged his kitty bed over to the window, must have wanted to feel the breeze in his fur.

Have a great day and hike with that cute grandson, and Mannie, behave ok?

Re: 8/4 Mannie PMPS 260

Hi all!! And thanks for visiting Mannie while I was busy with DGS. With Mannie being "that color" and yellow I elected to take DGS on a travel hike to a Lake in the North Cascades. Boardman lake is 4 miles north of the lake I hiked on my own this Monday. It is a much shorter one, but the lake was very nice, no majestic mountain like Lake 22 had, but what was there was really great. He had a great time - and really enjoyed the lake. SO much so that it took forever to feed him up there. he was way too busy looking at all there was to see.  I will try and post some photos tomorrow.

so.... we have what Mannie refers to as a "resting from all those good colors" day - looks like he stayed yellow for the day. At least the pmps is down from his +210.... so maybe he'll get back to the blues. Paws crossed!

Hi Sharon - thanks (!!) for the visit. It is isn't it - Mannie just knows and shows up. sometimes he has even come a gotten me if I'm a few minutes late. Makes it easy, doesn't it. :-D

HI Ann and Miss Maggie - That was funny on the bed - he didn't have to move it far. I thought it was cute - and no dummy there! yep - DGS and I went on a short hike, as Mannie gave us permission. It was a mountain lake, but short enough and low enough that I could get him there and back again within the time frame we had. For such a short one it sure was nice. DGS really liked the lake - kept turning to watch it. Cute! --- and believe me this morning I was glad the kitty choir was there. so so tired!

Hi Devon - YAY on those green cycles. The blue one have been really good, but it was nice to see the green. I did have a good chuckle over the bed dragging. cute! and smart!

Hi Ann, and Miss Tess - the backs to back were great! I am also glad that the "other color" only showed once. anti-jinx! Hopefully he can find the blues tonight. It is his regroup day - seems the norm after a great green run. Mr. Liver isn't quite ready to see him run greens all the time...

Hi Roni - Well, I made 11PM, by then it was apparent with his +6 that he would be just fine. sure was tired this AM. Took alot of ~O) ~O) to get things moving.. I am with you - I don't do naps and wake up and test well - way too groggy - so I jut stay up as long as I need to. Thanks - I hope for green today, but sure will settle for blue.

Hi Marje - yesterday was indeed awesome - very pleased with the cycles and how they unfolded. last night was a challenge, but we seemed to have done OK. Too bad on that AMPs, at least it wasn't a high pink....and thanks on DGS - we had a good time - a lake hike!

HI Ella - yay: it isn't too bad of a bounce -considering that low pmps. usually when he hits the 50's I get high pinks. So this was good to see - almost yellow. Encouraging I think. Took DGS on a lake hike today - a short one, I've found that any more than 3 miles I run out of time.. so we keep them short. He LOVED the lake.

Hi Tracy - oh I know on that bounce. I knew I'd see it when he posted that 55 last night. He does it every time. I keep hoping that one of these days low ps numbers won't shoot him up, and that I won't have to feed MC/HC foods that also help to send him up. Well - all in all a great day, we remain yellow so far today. not too bad. Mannie says that is an affirmative!

Rusty - I am so stoked about the hammocks - so so fun!!! Tess is the best! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we can go for a midnight swim?!?!?!?! I LUBS that. uhhhhhh..... could you make sure too that I don't eat all the blueberries?? I promised Tess... ~~ Mannie

Gracie - Yep!! HAMMOCKS!!! Cool, huh! YOU GOT MORE JUICE?!?!?!?!?! oh oh... watch out - POKIES! Be good then so you won't get too many.... See you at camp Stu - you need a ride? ~~ Mannie

Moonie!! I know on the GA's. I was so happy to see that Woo Ton made it safely. He seemed happy and fit as can be. I sure miss our friends - all of them, so it is nice to see them like we did last night. hey - awesome that there is no more vetty smell - you coming to camp Stu? ~~ Mannie

Tess - HAMMOCKS!!!!!!!!    :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D That is SO COOL! oh I so want to do that! and yes!! blueberry pcking for sure!! I know i ate all the tartlets... so I will pick today, and I PROMISE not to eat them all - I SWEAR! Let's go - we so need to chillax today. ~~ Mannie

Maggie - thanks on the fuds - I just love this stuff. Yep - off to camp Stu. I hear Tess has hammocks!!! See you soon -in teh roadster. The weather is so nice that I out the top down. ~~ Mannie

Hi Ann - that thought did cross my mind: the teeter totter may be back.... he is headed down. It may just be one his his off days, where he will stay yellow... great...

Hi Christie - thanks - awesome day with DGS - a lake hike which was really nice. and me too on the numbers!
