i made another post, but while im here, mel...can u think of a disadvantage of levemir? i know ecid but has there ever been a time u know of whn a cat did worse somehow? worse #s or anything? tia

In the 4 years I've been here, there has only been one cat that didn't do better on Levemir but he didn't do worse. Lucian remained the same on both Lantus and Levemir but did spectacular on BCP PZI. While we'll never know for sure I'm guessing he just didn't like human rDNA, but BCP PZI is made from beef and pork DNA.

oh ok. ty mel! i hv heard so many wonderful things abt levemir that i dnt get why more/most dnt use it instead of lantus?? i barely knew of it whn larry went on lantus, but since thn i hv heard so many great stories. every1 seems happy with it? if any1 isnt, i hope to find out, and why. thn if lair doesnt improve on his next vial of lantus, i think i shd try to switch? i think u agree? i wna do whats best, and i trust u all bc u know a lot
