Our continued prayers are with Mariko and Ginger. We are so sad for them that Lucy has crossed but know all our GAs, FD and civvie, have greeted her and made her feel welcome. Sending tons of healing vines to JD, Zener, Trix, Sasha, Lovey, Sabrina, Elise's Mom, Tricia, Wendy's Mom, Molly's Mom and Dad. Cheering Lola, Mottyl, and Mona on their OTJ Trials.

The wee bonnie lassie is pouting in her shoebox now because we made her come in from the catio. She is doing great (touch wood) although tomorrow is a vetty visit for she and Tobey. It's a follow-up for her from the ear issues (her ears are gads better) and Tobey's six month checkup. I know he needs a dental and will also discuss that with Dr. B for Gracie. She's 8 now and has never had one but her teeth look great.

We've had challenges lately with her (and Tobey) not wanting to eat the WN, as I have mentioned before. She likes the Weruva but it is so low calorie that we have to feed her a ton and then I worry she will be too full if we need to steer her numbers. I do not think that the Weruva foods were raising her BG. We decided to try the Merrick Purrfect Bistro and Pate foods. There are six that are in the 4-6% range (Grammy's Pot Pie, Thanksgiving Day Dinner, Turducken, beef pate, duck pate, and turkey pate). Dr. Lisa has these updated on the food list but there is no phosphorus value so I'm trying to get that and I'll share it with her and you all. We were using Pet Guard Premium Feast 10% to control her lows and drops but she just doesn't like it. I bought some Avoderm chicken/duck in gravy in pouches and gave it to her this morning and she loved it and it leveled her off. The % carbs are 17% which is higher than I like but the calories are low. That might allow us to feed her much less of it to get her to level off and she wouldn't be getting a lot of extra calories. And perhaps no karo. One can hope. :-D

Have a super day!

Gracie looks wonderful today!! (even if she's a little grumpy!) Sending lots of good-vetty-visit vines for tomorrow for both Gracie and Tobey...and lots of eat-good-fuds vines for Gracie. I tell ya, these cats and their finicky appetites are really obnoxious and scary! nailbite_smile Hope you're having a good Monday, Marje. Keep up the good work, Gracie!

Thanks, Deborah!!

Gracie and Tobey aren't finicky and that's why I think WN has changed their formula somehow. They are both really good eaters. We've had to change some of her foods because they have fish in them and she has an allergy to fish.

We appreciate the thoughts. And she got over her snit quickly and has been sweet and purry cat_pet_icon cat_pet_icon

Gracie is surfing with the alien.... reference is Joe Satriani's album

Thank you Marje for all your suggestions for the diarrhea and other information. I am going to go on a shopping trip tomorrow. You have a lot of knowledge and thanks for sharing it. I get so nervous at times if it wasn't for my faith in God and all the help I received from people like you. I don't know what I would do.

(((Catherine)))). Thank you :-D :-D :-D I really appreciate your words and hope Lovey is better.

Thanks, Angela! We had quite the PJ Party last night!

   Great seeing Gracie back in the greens! You know the LBG could never stay pouting for long!

Gracie looks like the Gracie I've come to know once again. Yea for that. Max wouldn't eat the Turducken. I tried it twice. I hope Gracie likes it. Maybe I need to see again if he will eat the Weruva. He wasn't liking that either but he needs the lower calories. Have a great day and thanks for the levity.

Sending good vetty vines for both kitties. I'll be watching for your condo later with all good news!

Also thanks for checking on the Merrick. My kitties like it but I was hesitant to feed it because I heard the formula changed and the carbs were higher. I'll wait to buy it until you find out about the Phos.

You really are such a wonderful asset to this board, Marje. I don't know what we would do without you! :YMHUG:
