Gave me another nice number this am. I was able to check his ketones last night after I shut down and he was negative. I was able to get some water in him by mouth, but I guess he feels he doesn't need fluids...

I hope to be home from work at about 4:30 today.

We are going back to the vet tomorrow for another blood test....any questions you think I should ask the vet?

I'm glad his ketones are negative and he has another nice blue PS.

but for some reason, for the 2nd day in a row, he's under 200 in the am but over 300 in the pm... :?
 
Cats often go lower overnight. Possibly since the humans are sleeping, the cat sleeps more, too.
 
Good luck at the vet's appointment. Maybe he will have some idea why things changed so much.
