Not a good start to the morning for any of us. DH takes the drooler out to potty and something white streaks past them and into the house. Which causes an immediate uproar with the Fur Gang. The something white turns out to be a large male cat. I got bit twice separating the fray. But the kitty was at least wearing a collar and tags. So once I get him trapped on the mud porch I get him calmed down with food long enough to read the tags. His name is Chaos and he lives two doors down, okay good I can return him. Then I see a second tag I know all too well. Because 3 of mine wear the exact same bright red tag. It read I'M A DIABETIC!!!
So call owner, she's elated because she's been looking for him frantically since last night. So I tell her I'll bring him down as soon as he finishes breakfast because right now he's inhaling food and growling. New panic on her part, until I explain..no not dry, but Friskies Pate since I have 3 diabetics myself.
Took Chaos home, met Laura his mom, this afternoon we're having lunch at a nice cybercafe so I can get her hooked up with FDMB and then I'll be teaching her to test.
