I think, for me, the neatest thing about her feeling better, is watching her come to life again as far as being more engaged with us- And being more playful! Extremely playful.
Every morning after her breakfast for the last two weeks she leaves to go find her toy ( a green wiggle worm on a stick), and she drags it all through the house to bring it to me.. it’s the funniest thing to see her carry it with the stick dragging behind her!
another notable, is that when her insulin dose was up to 7 units BID and her sugars were still all over the place, she would hiss sometimes- not often but maybe twice a month.
The last time that happened was 5/14!
she is definitely feeling so much better and I couldn’t be happier for her.!
So, here’s to Day 13!!!
