Good Morning of the Full Blue Moon. (and TGIF),

Rusty has bounced from the low greens yesterday and the day before yesterday. I had planned to shave the fat off his dose this morning, but I shot thorough the bounce and will take the reduction this evening. I think he is ready. The almost-full moon was brilliant last night. It looked like sunlight filtering through the trees. Rusty slept all night with his beans. This morning started out with a good shot (after the AMPS 191), breakfast (half consumed), and a visit from The Shadow. They had a "friendly" cuffing and then a stand-off. Shadow frisked away and Rusty decided to come in to eat some more of his breakfast. He's been working on a hairball and hopefully he'll get it out today.

Today will be a day of chores. We have to go to the landfill and do some yard work. Our lawn mower is not working and the guy is supposed to fix it this weekend. But we can use the manual push mower in the meantime. Since it has been dry, the lawn doesn't look too overgrown.

Sending healing vines to Gracie, Marje, Tarragon, Maggie, Leo, and to all kitties and beans not feeling well.

Good job on the reducie Rusty! The moon was beautiful this morning on my way to tbp. So peaceful. How nice that Rusty kept you company last night. Now get rid of that nasty hairball!

Morning Ella and Rusty, congrats on the shave reducie. Not too bad a bounce, and Rusty always recovers in record time. Yes, Full Moon party tonight. Cute with the "almost friendly" meet and greet with Shadow. :-D

What a nice day yesterday for Rusty - all those greens! Not too bad of a buce this AM, I bet he brings that down soon. Good luck with the reducie - hope it goes well, he likes it, and it is a keeper.

Hi guys .. not a bad bounce at all .. and who knows, maybe rusty will mosey his way back down in time for the party tonight .. bummer on the lawn mower not working .. Hopefully it's a cheap enough fix .. have a great weekend guys!

Hi again,
Rusty has broken his bounce and is in green for the blue-moon party. It is a hot, windy day. Rusty feels the heat and spent his outdoor time lying in the shade of the house.
I had an exciting morning: I made the arrangements to buy a new car (in 2 weeks or so)!! It's the same model as the old one, but 4 years younger. Whew! When we lived in the city we kept cars for 12 or more years, but that involves lots of extra expense here in the North Country.

It's a Subaru Forester. Just the right size for carrying 2 canoes and a cat, and good ground clearance and all-wheel drive to get through the snow drifts and the mud holes.

Sounds like you and Rusty are having a good day. It's good to see Rusty made green. How exciting on the new car. I'm glad you got something you like and is so practical for you.

I guess it's a matter of perspective. Neko had 192 this morning and it was a good non bounce start. Rusty has 191 and it's a bounce. One day maybe.... The moon was glorious last night. It came out when we were just finishing our paddle and everything was so light out.

A new car is exciting. My previous car was a Subaru and I had it for 16 years. Great cars!

The kitties look like they are all set for the blue moon party at Rusty's place tonight.

Rusty has had a low-key day with diminished appetite. I hope it's just the return of hot weather. I'm keeping an eye on him. It's a bit worrisome that he only ate a little of his bedtime snack of FF T&G (which he usually gobbles up). Maybe it's the Blue Moon! Maybe it's a hairball.

The moon is brilliant again: the kind of moon we call a "Seneca Ray Stoddard" moon (he was an adventurer in the Adirondacks in the 19th century, wrote great accounts of his travels, and took fantastic photographs, many of them of the woods in moonlight).

The party at Camp Stu must be in full swing by now. Party on, all you kitties!
