Tonight is the first "blue" Cairo has had in 5.5 days. I've never double checked the meter before but when I got a 133 for her PMBG I decided to test again and got 103. Hmmmm.... that's a 30 point difference. Now, I'm wondering if (but hoping) all the other checks were correct. Is this something I should be worried about? Should I do anything different? I know her BG still in the "good" range but the directions for OTJ said the numbers had to stay in the "green" to be considered truly OTJ. Thoughts?
It might be worth taking the average of those two tests as her test number and make a note of it on her spreadsheet, which would make it 118 (I think).
By law, I do believe meters can have a 20% variance, which if I did my math right, would but the low end of that 133 to 107.....
ETA - You can always take a test at +2 or +3 and see if that is in the greens and add that to the subject line....
+3.5 was 121. I know it's still a respectable number but she's going the wrong way. She seems to be drooling a lot also....? Should I be worried or just roll with it?
