Yesterday was..... back to the BLUES day in Mannieland. WOOT!! Rumor has it that the Blue Mannie Group was performing LIVE on Rusty's porches in eager anticipation of the Full Blue Moon party. Awesome! Yesterday was a good day for Mannie - It was so so nice to see that slow slide down into the blues, and have him maintain that through the PM cycle. It reminded me so of days of old where he would surf those blues for several cycles before Making his move. Well done Mannie! lubs ya lots big guy. cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D Mannie is one happy dude, Nicholas is on happy kid. It is so fun to watch them seek each other out in the morning. Best buds for sure. The nanner decorating was not forgotten yesterday, nor was the attempted hugs by DGS. I have had a few people ask about Mannie and Nicholas videos. I don't have any new ones (I know - bad bean!) but thought I'd repost two I had posted earlier. They are Mannie and DGS Classics.

We had a very nice day here yesterday - lots of sun, and about 70. Mannie took advantage of that - made a few forays out onto the deck for some serious tanning work. :-D :lol: :lol: He so loves to lay out in the sun. What kitty doesn't? This morning we had a great test, feed (YES!!!!!), shoot and clean plate club (YAY, membership still intact), AND the auto feeder was ignored by Mannie, (again!) :shock: Elsa too (again)... Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D How great it is to be able to say: NORMALCY! ;-) WOO HOO!

Have a great day everyone! I am still on DGS today - WOO HOO! More Nicholas! Today will be a swim day, and then wherever the good weather leads us. I will try and visit condos in the evening. It is just too difficult to find time when he is here. I will miss you guys, and you furkids. Think Blue, think Green kitties!!

Hey everybody!! I AM SO STOKED!!! Full moon party!! and it s a blue one. WOO HOO!! We will be partying at camp Stu - I lubs that place, SO.... LET"S DO IT! I gots the bus all done up party style: the sauna and hot tubs are a go, the Big screen TV is all set up, and I gots new fleece for all the perches. Hot Dog cart is stocked - we be all set! Nice AMPS today for Mannie! Nice performance yesterday by the Blue Mannie Group. Always so great to see them! Normalcy is a very very good thing.

You can post those two videos anytime! I love how Nicholas sticks the nanner in his mouth and then spits. :lol: Then when he brings Mannie the nanner in the kitchen Mannie is like "This doesn't go in here. Oh well. I will just go with it." :lol:

Michelle, many thanks on the ~O) ~O) always! Great numbers for Mannie yesterday, and how about a repeat performance, Mannie! I can never get tired of DGS and Mannie bonding time. Mannie is so patient and loving with DGS. He knows how special DGS is to you and to Mannie, too! Love the pics and on how DGS gets into the river exploring. :-D Have a wonderful river adventure today.

Mannie, I forgot all about the big Blue Moon pardy! Yay! The menu is spectacular, and I will do my utmost helping with the cleanup and cooking crew. I'll bring my catnip cheesecake just for some extra dessert. See ya at the curb.

Michelle, those videos are priceless. I had missed the first one the first time around. Mannie is so patient with Nicholas. It is just amazing!

Hi Melissa - I so agree - normalcy feels darn good right now. I loved the blue - that was so great to see. BMG was rockin' the house. :lol: Thanks too on the vids - they are two of my favs. I really must get some new ones. In looking at those two it is amazing how much DGS has grown since then. Oh yeah on the nanner n the mouth thing - he does that way to often.... :lol: :lol: yeah on the kitchen one,. Nikolas sued to do that all the time, Mannie's reaction was always the same. Too funny.

Last night's cycle was great - so nice too to have blue amps this morning. yupp: Mannie is very patient with him - I really think too that he likes the attention. For a little kid Nicholas is gentle with him overall. Nice to see. Thanks too on the pics - it was really fun yesterday. very cool that he could walk that far out into the river and explore. Hi Ella - Thanks on the videos - I love those two - they are so indicative of how well those two get along. Best buddies! Mannie is ever so patient - remarkable in itself. THX too on the Snoqualmie photos - I really do love that spot. It has proven to be such a god one for Nicholas: trails he can do on his own, a river he can get into safely, all around a very good place. Sure hope so on the Blue Mannie Group - paws crossed he can hold this surf this AM.

Ohmighosh, Michelle, I laughed my head off at that first video. I didn't see it before. Nicholas couldn't make up his mind how to range the 'nanners on Mannie's back, and that precious cat, just lay there and let him do whatever he wanted...to a point :lol:
I love how Mannie reached out with his foot and pulled the cracker? closer on the tray. :lol:

Love those blues....way to go Mannie :-D

Hi Barb - Funny aren't they. Mannie amazes me - he really does sit there and take it all, to a point. Mess with the feet too much and it's all over. :lol: :lol: And yes - it was a goldfish cracker. They had been eating cubed chicken and fishies crackers. First grab was chicken, the rest were fishies... I laughed when Nicholas puts the crackers on Mannie's back... omg. Too funny.... -- m too on the blues! nice and steady, nice and safe, and we all can go play. WOOT!

Hi Ann - That he is. :cool: :cool: How great is that. May not be green, but it works for him. Oh I know - I look at those videos and marvel at how much he really has changed. Oh my goodness!!! Those videos are filled with super cuteness! Nicholas and Mannie have such a special relationship with one another. I love the way Mannie tolerates the decorating and how Nicholas is so gentle with him. Nicholas is really good at sharing too!

Another BLUE Mannie day! How great is that! I hope you enjoyed your day out with Nicholas, pretty fabulous weather out there today. Neko has been practicing some back up vocals, I think she wants to join the band today.

The menu is awesome! I love BLUEBERRIES! I'll see if I can steal some more of those blueberry pancakes my beans were eating this morning. If not, I've got some smoked salmon we can snack on during the ride. ~Neko

183 @ PMPS. WOW - we have another blue pmps. Awesome - way to go Mannie! Looks like the BLUE MANNIE GROUP is on for the Blue Full Moon party tonight. The Manster is so excited that he made it. Woo hoo!

DGS and I had a great day today: swimming in the morning, the river in the afternoon. Swim was as good as it always is. He loves to jump in off the side of the pool, sink to the bottom and figure out how to come up again. he's getting pretty good at it. We went to the Bothell River park after that. The river is low enough that there are now sections were he can get to rivers edge - that is always a big hit. We threw rocks, chased a few geese, and a great time. I will post photos in Mannie's condo tomorrow.

Hi Tamara - thanks on the vids - they are fun. They really do have a special relationship, very cool to watch it develop. Me too on the decorating. Nicholas tries so hard to be gentle with Mannie - sometimes he blows it, and even then Mannie Puts up with it. What a pair!

Hi Wendy - yupp! love these cycles - mostly blue. YAY!!!! And yes I did - Nicholas and I had a great time. Weather was iffy during the pool time, but by the time we hit the river is was all sun - very very nice out there! I told Mannie that Neko has been practicing vocals - he is very excited!

Neko - you will sing with the BMG? YES???? I sure hope so! We have so much fun! Hey - very cool on the Blueberry pancakes!! I LUBS them - I hope you can get some. Make that a for sure on the smoked salmon - perfect road trip fuds! YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! I SWEAR I won't eat all of it.... See you! ~~ Mannie

What adorable videos Michelle! Mannie is just so good with Nicholas! Racci is patient to a point but not a long as Mannie is. She'll sit and let Jesse cover her with toys and pat her gently but she's wary because he's hurt her in the past. They're very cute together. Great videos!

Hi Melanie - thanks for the visit! and on the vids too. I am grateful that Nicholas is as gentle as he is with Mannie. He has had a few not so gentle moments, but I think too if he weren't Mannie would be as patient as he is. So far, they are good to go, and I sure hope it stays that way.
