Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (Ahhhhhh.... elixir! Thanks Elsa~), and Happy Caturday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Lola and Bug's new leaf continues!! Once again,. on a Caturday, there has been no more sleeping in! Three Caturday's in a row!!! They say Paw Prints Pizza is open and ready for bushiness! They are running a Caturday Catmint special today - lots of nip in those pies! They have even used their signature nip cheese. Best order early! I tinks they are trying to perfect ehri pies. We have so mnay OTJ parties coming up! SWEET, huh! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings... SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of peppermint and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, sprinkled with peppermint chips and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride.

I hope everyone had a great Furday. Nicholas and I had a great day in the pool: alot of fun to be had yesterday. The energizer FISH was hard at it, nonstop motion, so much underwater again. It is amazing to me still that he loves the water as much as he does. The past few times we have gone he has wanted to watch lessons. Good I think - get him used to seeing how they do them, help him be ready for when it is his turn. We did the trails after the pool, per the norm. It is amazing too that those trails still offer a ton of blackberries: the vines are just bursting with them. Major YUM! Some of them are starting to fade, but.... we were surprised today to find more vines that were in the flower stage. Guess they are not done yet! This is what I wrote on last night's post: "Hey everybody! I hope your day was a good one. The energizer FISH and I spent the morning at the pool. What smiles appear on his face when he knows that is, for sure, where we are headed. He is quite taken with trying to swim the length of the beach area, most of it under water. That has to be about 20 feet or more. There are never any issues with the face in the water, being submerged, or getting from new point to the next while submerged, He doesn't use goggles, never had a water wing on his arm. There is no fear, just a healthy respect for the water. I ran into one the guards/instructors/ supervisors that has been watching him since we started in the pool over a year ago. She is so pleased with his progress. I guess there are 4 levels for lessons for kids under 5. He, in her opinion, is already at the 4th level, and wonders where he will be with it ll when he is eligible in January. WOW. impressive. It will be tough to keep this going when I have William in my care too, until he is able to support himself, sit upright etc. Somehow we shall make it all work. Anyways.... we spent alot of time in the "hot tub" being underwater too: blowing bubbles while under, making funny faces while under, sitting on the bottom of the pool. all sorts of fun things. How cool is that: all at 2.5 years old. After swim we also went to the trails, so he could explore some, hunt for berries. We still have blackberries! They are starting to fade however. All in all - a very fine day. :-D " Picassa links: Swimming!! and A day on the trails.... The traisl album also contains some photos taken of Nicholas and his sidekick Bear. Nicholas just loves those Hostess Cupcakes, and it has become a game with him when Bear tries to get his "fair share" all in good fun, whimsical fun. For otiose that don't know "Hostess" here's a breif hickory: Hostess Cupcakes

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!!!   They were very good kitties yesterday. Even Lola    we had a very nice day yesterday weather wise, sunny in the afternoon, about 72 tops. Elsa napped during the morning, spent the afternoon out in her yard, sunning on the deck, sleeping in the "woods", enjoying the outdoor time. Bug it seems spent most of his day sleeping in those sunbeams. Thanks Mannie for teaching him how. The rest of the time he spent scattering kitty toys all over the kitchen Flor. Seems that they slide and play batter there. And Lola? well.... some naps, some normal crazy let''s visit every room and cause chaos. Nicholas was waiting in the afternoon to head on out, at the foot of the stairs, front door landing, and Lola decided to sit with him. The plant temptation, to climb the palm that is, was just too great, and up she went, and down, and up again. I kept hearing this laughter, and knew it couldn't be good. Nope! Up the plant several times. Nicholas thought it was a hoot, hence all that laughter. Later that night I went to get something out of the living room, and ran into a butt poo streak on my carpet, a good 10 feet long. :-x   :o     . DARN IT! Knew it was Lola... the fur remnants were hers. Well, can't decide it I'd rather have the furball pukus or the butt streaks.... shessh! So..... LOL! Normalcy in MusketeerVille! cat_pet_icon

Have a great day everyone. It will be catch up day for me, normal Caturday things: shopping, laundry, bills, cleaning, etc etc etc.... I will hope for an afternoon trek/walk/hike through the woods to the shore. Weather looks like it should be ok this afternoon, once the clouds move on. Paws crossed! :-D

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!!

Good morning, Michelle!
mmmm Hostess Cupcakes.... brings back memories! Had my own 'order' of eating it (first the cake, then scoop out and eat the filling, then rest of cake and save the frosting/icing for last...)
It's so wonderful Nicholas has confidence in the water (and respect for it!). It's something I wish for every child (and grown-up!).
I love the image of Lola showing off her climbing skills for Nicholas. I bet she LOVES having a giggling audience  . Ahh, and your Sunbeams kitties, enjoying Mannie's Rays  . Warms my heart.

I hope you have a wonderful day today!
:-D :-D :-D

Morning Josie ~O) ~O) ~O) I so know on those Hostess Cupcakes! Funny - my order of eating it was the same too: One always peeled off the frosting... then the cake, cream center was attempted to be next, though it often got mixed up with the cake part, then the frosting was always last. nicholas is the complete opposite: the white squiggles are first, then the frosting, then the cake, then the cream center.   THX too on Nicholas and the water. it's been an ongoing lesson with him, trying to make sure he has that respect for the water, he was a fast learner there, and I'm so glad that the love of it all came with this learning. THX too on the kitties. I have no doubt on Lola, and well Bug too! That does warm my heart as well.

That's so neat Nicholas is making so much progress in the water. I bet Lola enjoyed having an audience to race up and down the palm plant. So cool that Bug was sleeping in the Manniebeams.

Happy Caturday to you, too, Michelle! Nicholas is an amazing little fish. I'm sure the lifeguards have noticed him. :-D  Too funny about the kitties, especially climbing the palm and Nicholas finding it so entertaining.  May the chores get done quickly and the hike last forever. :-D
Liz

Hey Lola - Little 'Un - you did butt poo! ha ha ... wanna know what I did, I left a nice poo dump in the middle of the dining room floor last night! The bean found it this morning and came in and said - M AAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUIIIIIIIIIIII why did you do that --- I laid in bed and pretended I didn't know what she was talking in. Then I gave her a few Rar's and told her to get my breffis quick, cause I is hungry and want to be served in bed! ha ha

You know what - the bean did it too. I have her so well trained.

Hey Lil Bit Pit - It's kind of a muggy day here, I think it's a good day to take the jet out and go for a fly and maybe CATapult some kittehs too - Let's gather the gang and go flying and CATapulting!

Signed Maui the Magnificent

Hi Everyone! Happy Caturday afternoon! :-D

Hi Carla - THX on Nicholas: he is doing great, has such a good time when he is there. Oh yes on Lola, she always seems to outdo herself when we pay attention... silly cat! I thought so too on those manniebeams.

Hi Liz - THX! Oh yes on the life guards - they all now who he is. His energy level and love of the water has gotten their attention. Thx on the shores: all done, for now. well, as much of them as I am going to do.  Time now to go out and play! and yes on Lola - I had such a good laugh when I realized what Nicholas was laughing at. darn cat!

Maui! GF! OOOOOOO! Excellent idea! I LBS the new CATapult. That is major funs. Sounds goo to me, I am on my way, with the gang, and Lola and Bug. They want to do the catapult thing. They wondered if it would help with their pizza deliveries. They is so silly. I tolds them no on the pizza, yes on the flying.... ~~Elsa, Lil BIT PIT, ready to roll
Hey Maui, Lola here. YEs, i did do that! Gotta keep this hoomin on her toes. SWEET on your pile. i liek sit that your bean went and got your breffis, just with a few Rar's! mega cool. ~~ Lola, excellent rug scooter

Wow on Nicholas and the swim lessons, but what will he do when he finishes Level 4 Class and still has to wait nearly 2 years for the next level? ;-)  If he is in class that may help free some time for looking after William too.

Have fun playing today!

Hi Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) I so know on when he's done with Level 4. what then? Guess he'll be the youngin' in the older kids class. ;-) I am so hoping too that when he's in class that should free up time with William. That will really help. THX: I did just a local walk/trek here. The weather is good, being out was good for today. Tomorrow I will hope to hike.

Hi Michelle,
Ann's thoughts on Nicholas's swimming lessons were mine, too. I hope that something can be worked out for him. He has such love of swimming and is good at it. He's ready for lessons and shouldn't be held back just because he is "under age"! Great pool pics today.

Have a great hike tomorrow. Wishing you good weather!

Hugs, scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Hi Ella ~O) ~O) ~O) Me too on Nicholas. We will do our best to make sure he still gets pool time, and lessons start when they should, when he's ready. I think he is, now we just need to get him to accept instruction from others, and be comfortable in a class with other kids. I think once he tries it he will be on board. I think they are pretty good about placing the kids according to ability, not so much age. we shall see if age plays a factor. I sure hope not. THX too on the pics. Weather is great today at Baker - 100% sun predicted. I so hope that they are right. I'm getting ready to head on out now, once I finish today's condo.
