Altho' Mr. KT KittyPook is a bouncy yellow this morning, if you look at his spreadsheet, you'll see a whole SEA of greens!!!! WOOHOO!!!! DANCIN IN THE STREETS!!! We're down to niggling around .5 unit - there's been a couple of pm+11's that says reduce but it wasn't because he needed a reduction, it's because he didn't eat. When I see the DAYTIME numbers in normal range and dropping low, THEN I'll reduce. I'm also seeing that his insulin isn't lasting 12 hours...it seems to end about +10-ish during the daytime cycle. He's feeling well but still being picky about food. He's doing a huge 'hard food' chant this morning.

I can't seem to punch thru sweet Doc's 200-300's now - I'm seeing way too many pinks. I increased to 3 u's this morning. He also seems to be feeling well, quite comfortable and gets just plain silly at times now. About 7pm nightly, he starts running up and down the hall, zoom thru the living room, up over the piano and down onto their island...runs across, down the chair, across to the other chair and back down the hall all with his silly bunny run. He's terribly knock-kneed in back - when he runs, he keeps his back feet together which looks funny. Makes me grin like a silly idiot....
BlueDrooler is going to vet this coming week for a biopsy on 2 sores on one leg. They've been there for weeks and haven't healed. I noticed one is raising around the edges - I don't like the looks of it at all...afraid it's a mast cell tumor instead now. I can't find any elsewhere, just on his front left ankle and paw top. He messes with it fairly often so must be bothering him.
All other fuzzy feetz are doing well - we're attempting another integration, I'd really like Moochie to come in with Pepper/Lilly/Pugsley just because I hate seeing her alone. Mooch is such as Diva, acts like she wants to be Alpha but really doesn't have an Alpha personality to carry it thru. She hisses and slaps quickly. I've been holding her while in with them, we've done lots of noses, smells, rubs but then she tries to raise her paw to slap while suddenly hissing for what seems to be no reason. Lilly just ignores her hisses - she was raised with 'Hissin' Peanut' (must have been related to 'Hissin' Heidi'..
).
I have NO idea what I'll do today other than just try to stay cool and move around neighbor's sprinklers. It got to 104 yesterday, supposed to be the same today...and tomorrow...and the next day.... Oh, holiday weekend...will also try to keep the drunks from driving thru the yard.... I have this really nasty thought when I see them swerving down the road...water balloons full of paint...see, I TOLD you it was awful....
BIG HUGS to all that visit today! Special thoughts and prayers for Hope (& Baby) as she recovers from this stroke.
