Good evening Lantus Land! Thank you all who visited yesterday's condo today because I'm so late in getting one posted.

While Gracie still seems to be feeling fine....she was quite silly and playful this morning and even this afternoon.....her numbers are trending upward. She was in the 50s last night and then bounced and I think she tried to clear today but just didn't make it. So I'll probably take her does back up tomorrow morning depending on what she does tonight. I've been keeping a close eye on her ketones and so far, negative. She has an appt with the IM specialist on Tues afternoon for an U/S. I tried to get her in today but they were booked. I picked up Iams MaxCal, bupe, and ondansetron today and ordered cerenia. So....I'm ready and I'm hoping that being ready will keep me from needing to be.

Mike went back to work today but I know he was worried about doing so. The dr put me on a liquid diet.....I am starving!!!   I really can't do it totally because it makes my tummy feel better when I eat. I tried broths, jello, chamomille tea, pedialyte, etc today and nothing helps on the tummy ache except having food so I made some chicken and rice soup tonight and am going to eat some of it. It's pretty bland. I have an appt with the GI specialist on Tues.

Thank you for your continued healing vines and they are all extremely appreciated but if you could focus them on our baby Gracie, we'd appreciate it. I am hoping the antibiotic is helping some. We are sending lots of healing vines to Tarragon and Priss on Health.

Marje, So sorry you & Gracie arent feeling well--Poor Gracie with pancreatitis!!! Surprising the lack of symptoms, but a mom bean always knows when her baby isnt right--And You Marje!
I also have diverticulitis and it aint fun!! Hope they find out what's with you both real soon & you are headed for The Healing Zone!! Many Hugs & Love from us!!!

I hope you both are better soon. I vote for smoothies too. Vanilla yogurt, protein powder and whatever fruit or juice you like. My fave is orange, tastes just like an Orange Julius, but may be too acidic.

i can't believe her pancreatitis test came back positive! who would have thought with just that little one time bit of vomit?! what a good thing that you got her checked and didn't ignore it. i hope the little girl is feeling better soon.

i like the idea of milk shakes - they have healing powers! hopefully you'll have some answers next week. at least you know what it's not!

Marje, Glad Gracie is feeling well and being her cat self despite positive pancreatitis test, some cats don't believe test data. Even so, she may like it if you decide to give her a little more juice. Hope you get some relief soon too, rice is one of the foods that helps vanquish many evil tummy demons. Still not sure what vines are? Sending healing thoughts to both of you!

I'm not sure, but I think vines was a typo of vibes a long time ago, and it became a new FDMB slang word.

I hope you are feeling better Marje. Arg! on the no solid food. I hope you enjoyed your soup :)

Good luck with the IM Vet visit coming up.

It's good to hear Gracie was feeling good and being playful. Sending prayers and healing vines for Gracie and you.
