Happy Caturday, Lantus Land!!! Sending healing vines and thoughts to all who need them today.

Missy G was a crazy baby last night playing with the toilet paper roll rings I cut for them yesterday. She was jumping straight in the air, tossing them around, and her enthusiasm actually got Tobey going with them, too. She likes to carry them around, too :lol: :lol: :lol: When it was time to go to bed, I put on our meditation music and went to brush my teeth. When I came back into the bedroom, she was on the bed and had wadded the sherpa up, had that intense look of concentration on her sweet, tiny brown face and was kneading to the slow rhythm of the music :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: My little artiste!

The bounce from the previous day's 23 cleared last night. I kept a close eye on her numbers because she can really get with it when she clears a bounce. Holding our breaths until we get past six reduction cycles.

We've had a lot of storms here lately and so my chore today is to clean up the backyard and patios. Hope you enjoy your day fully on this long, holiday weekend!

Nice numbers for Gracie today. That's so cute she was kneading in rhythm with the music.

Good to hear Gracie is recovering from her bounce & enjoying those nifty toilet paper rings. Good girl to be meditating, too.

Hope you get some good time for yourself to rest, too Marje - we could use some of your rain if you're done?

Thanks, Carl, for asking about Mom and Gus. Mom had the stomach flu two weeks ago and a bladder infection last week and the doc says both are always much worse in the elderly than us young'uns. But she seems to be making a good recovery. She called me late last night to ask me some computer questions. Go figure! She should have been in bed!!

Gussie....well, I don't know. I didn't give him fluids today because his front left paw was swollen; sometimes the fluids find a channel down that front left paw and normally it absorbs but it didn't today. Even though I would have given the fluids on his other side, they usually slide around to his chest and will go down that front left paw so we took a break so I can see if the edema goes away. He just doesn't seem to be as spunky as usual. The paw does not appear to be bothering him. Normally, he's in the kitchen every two hours but I've been taking his food to him. He eats but not with his normal gusto. Our poor little old man....always worried about him.

But Missy G had a gorgeous day. Why can't they all be like this???

What a great day for the Principessa! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Your mom is a hoot. :lol: I'm sorry about the illnesses but it sounds like she's doing fine. Tons of vines for Mr. Gus, hope it's just an off day. He is such a sweetheart and I cherish my Gussie kisses. :-D We got an inch of rain today.

Hi Marje. Gracie sure had a good day. Sounds like those cut toilet paper roll rings are enjoyed by all. I'll have to give them a try. Sorry to read that Gus is feeling under the weather and has a swollen paw. Hope the poor guy gets feeling better and swelling goes down.

Glad your mom is doing well. Have a great evening Marje.
