ARGHHHHH!!! If it weren't for the fact that Mark feels terrible about it, I'd be sooo mad that he gave a furshot this morning! Way to kill the momentum. No doubt about it - Cinco reeks of Lantus.   cat(2)_steam Poor guy - he overslept and was an hour and a half late giving the shot, and he said he realized after he shot that he went all the way through.  Sooo, back to the drawing board tonight. At least we can shoot at the normal time. The only question is how high will he go?
Cinco's appy is not great this morning. He only ate about 1/3 of his first breakfast and required a lot of encouragement to eat the second one. He was not interested in a snack at his +5 test. Guess he doesn't like missing his shot. The other kitties, however, were more than willing to clean up the leftovers.
After lots of discussion and thought, we have made the decision to go ahead with the chemo for Sasha. We've come too far to stop now, and we want to give her the best possible shot at a longer, healthier life. I'll call first thing Tuesday morning and set the appointment. I'm going to e-mail the oncologist, Dr. S. with some more questions we have about it and hope she gets back to me before our actual appointment.
Thanks so much for all the input. We couldn't have gotten through the past few months without the wonderful support of our Lantus Land family, and we know we have you behind us as we move forward, with both our special kitties.
Sending healing vines to all in need, and hugs to all their beans. :YMHUG: We're thinking of Ellie as she mourns her 20 year old civvie that crossed yesterday, even as she struggles with Charlie's DKA. Continued prayers for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF, and Elise's DM.
