Happy she broke her bounce really quickly. She might have even touched some green late in last night's cycle. I know we're not quite low enough but I like seeing those blues outweigh the yellows and pinks.

Heat wave is back here, so the birdwatching got a lot more boring without the open windows.

Looks like she's coming down.

Sorry about the heat wave. It's been brutal here ALL month. Heat index of 106-107 nearly every day. I don't remember such a prolonged heat wave. No fun at all being outside. I asked Alexa today when it's going to break, and she didn't have much promising news.

That is nuts, Mary, I don’t know how you do it. I start getting reallllllly cranky when it is this hot is September! Out on my run today (I’m an idiot, yes) I saw a bunch of leaves already falling. Yet it’s close to 100 out…
