Good Friday Afternoon, Everyone,

Nothing gets done quickly when electricity is involved and coordination between 3 separate parties has to be scheduled. In our case we had the electricians, the men from the power company, and the official code inspector. It's a good thing the electricians worked yesterday, because they still had a lot to do today. And the inspector had to come over 100 miles from another county. The power company truck was there when needed, however. The power was off from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. But the insulin is fine. We didn't open the 'fridge in this hot weather. Rusty supervised the men!

Now, it looks as if our kitty definitely wants a reducie. He has been angling for one ever since I took his dose back up a drop. And today, since we got a 32 at +9, he gets an automatic reduction. I think I'll take 2 drops off his dose. His dose is now what I am calling a fat 2 units (2.99mm on the digital calipers, Terumo syringe). His new dose will be 2.77mm on the calipers and I will call it a skinny 2 units.

Sorry the power had to be off for so long today but at least you had everyone there that you needed to. I hope it's all done today. Enjoy the rest of the day.

Congrats on the reducie. It looks like Rusty really wanted that reducie. Sorry your power had to be out so long, but at least it's back on now and the insulin is fine.

Hi Ella! I could not agree more on the coordination needed when dealing with all those companies. Bummer on the extended outage. It sounds like all went well. YAY!!!!

Congrats too on the reduction for Rusty. WHOA on that 32! Up just a little Rusty. It is GREAT to see the lagoon meister back on duty! I will hope too that Rusty likes the new dose and will hold it. Good luck!

Rusty is enjoying a quiet evening in his basket. PMPS looks good. Beans managed to mow the lawn after the electricians left. We are tired--the kind of tired one is from sitting around all day, trying to stay out of the way. I managed to read 2 chapters of my novel (set aside more than a month ago!). It was kind of nice not having the computer, but I missed all of you.

Hi again and thanks for visiting. Sorry I didn't get to many condos tonight. Just had to chillax. Rusty may be doing a bounce, or he may not. He had a good evening. When I put his nighttime food down on the coffee table so that I could turn off the TV, he jumped up and started to eat it (he always waits until we go upstairs and comes up there for hid nighttime food). So I left his treats dish on the coffee table and took upstairs the FF/Wellness and the Paw Lickin' chicken. Rusty does a lot of his eating at night.
