Yesterday, I held my breath hoping she would eat. She finally did OK at night and with enthusiasm this morning.
8/29 Recap:
AMPS 62  +1 121 +4.5 150 +6 187 +9.5 183
PMPS 186 +4.5 257
Amazing how much better things look when your acrocat is eating again and you've had some sleep. I'd call Neko about 90% back with her appy. There are small crumbs left, but mostly bone fragments from the chicken. Two days ago Neko would have cleaned those out. But most importantly, she's back being friends with Otto today and good enough to be back in the CPC.
We've had numerous purrs today, so I think she's feeling better too. Her numbers are higher than I like, but the combo of bounce from the night before (Neko delays her bounces) and less insulin yesterday morning, would both contribute to that. Patience pants on, trying not to worry too much. Dr. Joe said to watch her numbers for sign something else is brewing. nailbite_smile So far she's kept her meals inside of her.
Sorry for the late post. When Neko starts out that high, I know there's no reason for extra pokes. So DH and I were out trying to find a navigational safety light for our coach boat. You'd think that in a port city with a lot of recreational boating you could buy a sealed light that doesn't let water in. Last one lasted just a little over a year.
