I do think she may need more calories. I will weigh her asap, when she decides to sit on her scale. She likes to lounge on it! She hasn't been this svelte since she was a young cat, age 1 and the vet said not to let her get any bigger. :smile: Well she kept enlarging and now she is back to what feels like an ideal weight for her.

I was thinking that myself. I really do not like the numbers above 150 but if they come down in the greens then I am happy. I am not sure what to do but I am not going to change anything for now.Marjorie and Gracie said:

Tried to get a +6 on Morgaine and for the first time I just had to give up. Her ears would not bleed and she got really frustrated after several unsuccessful pokes on both ears. I fed her and let it go. That +3 96 was very nice and i was thinking she would be a little lower at +6 but we will never know.
Meanwhile, she decided to lounge on her scale and she lost another oz. She has lost 1/2 lb since the end of June. I think another few ounces are okay but then I am going to have to increase her calories which may require an increase in insulin. I will worry about that when we get there. The vet said she needed to lose a pound or more. She feels so thin to me but I think it may be relative to the 20 pounds she once weighed. She is now at 14 lbs. 7 oz.
