Lola and Bug, aka Paw Prints Pizza, love Friday's so they decided that since it is TPIF day that anyone can have any kind of pizza they wants - anythings!!! So get your orders in early! They say this is the way Furday's should be! I am exited too that it's Furday - so... I will make my Coffee Cat special of the day! FRAPPE FRIDAY! YUM!!!! Anything you want - just let me know. OOOOOO this will be such a good day. so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot Cappuccinos with extra foam, made from beans from High in the mountains of Jamaica. And for all my mocha fans: a Venti quad dutch apple infused white mocha, with caramel whip, garnished with caramelized apple clusters, white chocolate shavings and a caramel drizzle...... SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of apple and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, sprinkled with crystallized apple nits and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride.

WOO HOO!!!! IT IS FRIDAY FURDAY! :-D :-D :-D I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. We did well here, it was a family day, and I think we all enjoyed the time spent. It is always so nice to see William, and see how much he has grown and developed. What a treat. It is also hard to believe that he will be three months old in a week or so. Where did the time go? LOL: I think I wrote that last week, oh well... still holds true! I had hopes to take Erin, William and Nicholas to the Ice Caves here yesterday but alas the weather had other ideas... The caves are fabulous: caves carved my melting ice, and are at the base of a couple of rather impressive mountains. There are a couple of creeks there and a river, all fed by the melting snow. Well - I hope we can go maybe later in September. So.... due to adverse weather, more like monsoons, we went indoors, to the Seattle Aquarium. FUN! Here 's what I wrote in last night's post about our adventure: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. We ended up at the aquarium today, rains were awful, huge downpour around 11 or so. I think we are all glad we were not out in it. Another massive mess coming in later tonight, hail, thunder even some bolts. WOO! a wild ride, maybe. OOOO! Thunder rumbles, heavy rains as I type! cool. The aquarium was good, as it always is. Per the usual the Nicholas was so excited to show mom the ropes. We had mad dashes from one section to another. Lots of critter touches, and lots of explanations to his mom and what they were. It is amazing what he does know. Today we were especially fond of the tide pools, with the starfish, and several anemones. We did a little of the waterfront park, next to the aquarium, too. By then we had a weather break, so took advantage of that. Sure was warm out there. I love warm rains. Anyways - a good day for all. William did well too. He seemed to like the tanks that had the bright colorful fish in them." Picassa link: Seattle Aquarium

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   well..... yesterday's spider was back, even though I sent hint packing out the back door the day before. Hmmmm.... Maybe he had a relative that took over his ceiling condo. Needless to day Lola, just like yesterday, spotted it with that eagle eye of hers. Jump jump jump all over again. This time Nicholas and Erin were there to witness this ridiculous and miraculous feat. So.... Once again I had to send another spider packin', out the back door.   Lola can be such a hoot. It was like she knew she had an audience yesterday afternoon. We had returned from the Aquarium, just put Nicholas down for his nap, and My DD and I were in the living room talking. Out came Lola raring to go. Elsa was napping next to my DD, Bug started rolling his eyes as it to say: "Oh oh, and watch out. All hell is about to break loose..." He was right. She decided to run the banister railings (they are one 1" thick and very barrow, fun about 25 feet), back and forth, then hang from one of the hanging planters (that one needed my intervention), climb the palm plant, jump on all the window sills, run amuck through the living room, race up and down the stairs, knock all the papers off the coffee table. and that was just in the first 20 minutes.... Erin just sat and watched the performance. O.M.G. was all she could say. TRUE: O.M.G. that was so so Lola. You gotta love it. I want some of her energy! While here my DD remarked on how much Bug reminded her of Mannie. Somehow that was nice to hear, that it wasn't just me wishing Mannie's traits on Bug. She could see it too. COOL!

Have a great day everyone. I am back on DGS duty today. it will be a swim day for Nicholas, and then whatever else looks good to him. More berries? Probably! Maybe ! We should have decent weather, at least there are no rains predicted. Nothing compared to what we had yesterday. YAY! I will try and get to condos when I can.

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!!

Love the pics. I can't believe how big William is getting. What a sweet baby. Nicholas is going to be a GREAT big brother and will make sure William knows everything about everything. I bet Nicholas loved having his mom there and telling her all about the aquarium. What a beautiful family. Great fish pics too. The colors are amazing.

Oh my on Lola. She is a character. That is so sweet with Bug. Mannie is definitely steering that one. Have a great day Michelle!

Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O) THX so much on all. William is growing by leaps and bounds, such a sweetie he is, a very good a baby. I so agree on Nicholas: he really does love his little bro, and tries all the time to help. I think it will be great when William is more mobile and Nicholas can really begin to show him the ropes. Such fun times await. OH YES on yesterday: he loved to show his mom everything. We had a ton of "MOMMY! LOOK! See this?" what fun! THX on the pics too. what can one say about Lola.... she is fun! I think so too on Bug, and Mannie.

Hi Michelle. Great pics once again. You took some excellent pictures at the aquarium especially through the glass. Mine always have a flash reflection or are blurred from the glass. You have a talent. Glad you were able to enjoy your day in spite of the weather. William appears to be tall for a 3 month old. You can see the excitement of Nicholas in your photos. Those two are going to keep you hoping in September  .

Glad all is well in MusketeerVille. Lola sounds like quite the character and the one that keeps things hopping around there. I love to watch it when they get into one of them "I've got to touch everything in all the rooms" moods.

Have a great day Michelle.

It looks like you had a great day at the aquarium yesterday. How neat the Nicholas got to let him mom see how much he's learned. I hope you had a good swim day today.

It sounds like there's never a dull moment with Lola around. That's cool Erin saw how much Bug is like Mannie.

Hey everybody! I hope your day was a good one. The energizer FISH and I spent the morning at the pool. What smiles appear on his face when he knows that is, for sure, where we are headed. He is quite taken with trying to swim the length of the beach area, most of it under water. That has to be about 20 feet or more. There are never any issues with the face in the water, being submerged, or getting from new point to the next while submerged, He doesn't use goggles, never had a water wing on his arm. There is no fear, just a healthy respect for the water. I ran into one the guards/instructors/ supervisors that has been watching him since we started in the pool over a year ago. She is so pleased with his progress. I guess there are 4 levels for lessons for kids under 5. He, in her opinion, is already at the 4th level, and wonders where he will be with it ll when he is eligible in January. WOW. impressive. It will be tough to keep this going when I have William in my care too, until he is able to support himself, sit upright etc. Somehow we shall make it all work. Anyways.... we spent alot of time in the "hot tub" being underwater too: blowing bubbles while under, making funny faces while under, sitting on the bottom of the pool. all sorts of fun things. How cool is that: all at 2.5 years old. After swim we also went to the trails, so he could explore some, hunt for berries. We still have blackberries! They are starting to fade however. All in all - a very fine day. :-D  I will post the Picassa link in tomorrow's condo.

Hi John! THX on the pics. I will admit that it is hard to get photos through that glass!, and avoid the reflections etc. Over time I've gotten better at it. They do a good job with illumination there too, so that helps. THX for your comment: I do enjoy it. I am glad that Nicholas's excitement came through in those photos. William seems to be to me too. I can't remember now where he fits in the average percentile. I so agree: when I have both of them it will be alot of  and  and :o and  and    and several    They will keep me hopping for sure! -- and YES on Lola - she is the ringleader, keeps the others very busy.   She's only 1, still a kitten in a way, so expected I guess. I will be glad when she mellows out, just a little. ;-) I so agree on "those moods!"

Hi Carla! We did - it really was a fun time. Nicholas loves the place. It was fun to watch him with his mom. THX on today too - we did have a great time. oh yes on Lola.... and ME TOO on my DD seeing Bug, and his resemblance to Mannie.

You have a nice aquarium there. I like the tide pool pics, lots of star fish. Do you get many of those on your local beach? The tide was low and tons of purple starfish out this morning on my paddle. It would be fun for Nicholas to see them in the wild.

Oh my on the weather yesterday! We had a barn burner of a T-storm and I think most of yesterday's rain fell in one hour around midnight. Sounds like you had similar weather there too. Funny how quickly we forget what that weather looks like here. We are back to blue sky now.

I love the Lola stories. She makes me tired just reading about her antics. Who'd have though hanging plants had that appeal?

Hi Wendy :-D :-D :-D THX on the aquarium,. They do a decent job here and are always trying to come up with ways to improve thing, make it more "natural". We do get alot of starfish here, and they are accessible when the tides are out. On the beach shore walk that I do here there is a pier that they are especially fond of. They will cling to the pilings, dozens of them, all colors. We get alot of purples, oranges some blues, yellows. We also have a ton of the sun ones - the multi armed guys. Those are gorgeous. I so need to get him down to see them out in the "wild" he's love it. Your weather sounds like ours: it came about 5PM or so, and was non stop heavy downpour, very fast too. Lots of flooding in some parts. We too are back to blue skies. Yes, so agreed on Lola. silly cat!

Yum...chocolate and caramel. Lola is branching out into frisky flavor combinations. ;-)

Love seeing "normalcy in Muskateerville"!
