HAPPY...uhm...FURSDAY...I think @-)
OT: It's been an eventful day (Wednesday) around here. We woke up to discover that the a/c thermostat had stopped working, leaving the unit running for who knows how long and it was 66 degrees in the house. What TERRIBLE timing as Doug is preparing to leave town in a few days. ugh! So - he made the trip to get the new thermostat, so he could install it before going to work. At some point between 1pm and 7pm, the compressor decided to take a vacation. Doug is up now, researching online...
Hershey doesn't seem to mind that it's been 82 degrees since about 1pm. He has been avoiding the blanket, though. ;-) Brings back memories of being at my grandma's. She had one of those huge outdoor thermometers in the kitchen and it was always dead on 75 degrees and I was miserable! (I'm NOT at my best when I'm hot! )
Earlier, I was wondering if we needed to increase Hershey and muttering about how that's not possible (schedule-wise) for another week or so and feeling like a bad mom for leaving him in yellows to pinks because of scheduling...then, he shows me (89) @ 5.5 and (74) @ 7.5. Guess he's not finished working this dose.
Thank you for taking the time to visit us today!! I hope y'all are having a fabulously COOL one and are safe from Isaac's path!
Libby (& Hershey, too!)
ETA: 4am - WOO-HOO the air is working! Turns out the fan and compressor run on different circuits and the new thermostat tripped the compressor breaker. THANKFUL it was a quick and FREE fix!
