Good Morning LL. DH here. Marje is out for more tests and a follow-up appt with our doctor. No news yet on what is going on with her. Hopefully we will get some kind of news/results today.

Gracie had a good day yesterday, then bounced last night for some reason. She is coming back down this morning. We have been having to carb her a lot the last couple of days and were considering taking her back down to the f.5u this morning, but with the bounce we held the dose at sk.75. We'll see what the day brings. She is happy and purry, CPC and 5 P's, so all is well.

Tobey and Gus are well also. Gus had an appt with the eye doctor this morning. His eyes have been very runny lately. The eye vet said its probably an age thing, their eyes sink a little as they get older and the glands/drainage channels move around. She gave us some drops and wants him on L-Lysine. Always something around here.

Hope you all have a great day. Will pass along any news about Marje as we get it.

Nice recovery Gracie! Glad she is feeling good and eating well. Good news on Gus's eye appt. it stinks to get old huh Gus?

Healing vines for Marje. I hope she found something out at the dr today.

Re: 8/30 Gracie PMPS 95 pancreatitis

Thanks for visiting Liz and Melissa. I hope Tarragon is doing welll....I need to check on his condo. And Zman is eating!!

Gracie's specfPL came back as 18 which means she has pancreatitis. And since her liver enzymes are a little elevated, vet is worried about triaditis although ANTI JINX we have not been seeing any clinical signs at
all other than that tiny bit of foamy vomit a week ago. She is playing and eating...poops are good...she seems the same as always. So I'm trying to get her into the IM specialist tomorrow for an U/S so we can see what the liver, pancreas, small intestine looks like and what we can do to stave off any further involvement.

I had my ct scan and the problem seems to be in the small intestine....inflammation/infection with some thickening. I asked the dr if this could be anything serious or scary like lymphoma and he said no. I have to have a small bowel series on Mon/Tues and see a GI specialist. So at least we are getting somewhere in knowing what is going on.

I wonder if Gracie and I are so bonded that we are sharing infections    JK

So please forgive continued absence. Alot going on here but thinking of you all and keeping wishes for good health for you and your babies in my heart.

Re: 8/30 Gracie PMPS 95 pancreatitis

Gracie's seems to be recovering nicely. Hope Marje gets better soon. Who has pancreatitis, Gracie? Marje?
EDIT just saw your update Marje, sorry Gracie has pancreatitis, glad you dont. Hope your next tests go well and so you can get well soon, take care!

Re: 8/30 Gracie PMPS 95 pancreatitis

Oh no on the pancreatitis for Gracie! At least you now know and can move forward with it. I hope you can get her in tomorrow. Healing vines for her sweet tummy.

I thought the same thing about you and Gracie. :? I really hope they get to the bottom of it with you. Rest rest rest. Healing vines for you as well Marje!

Tarragon is doing ok. We have an appt with the internist tomorrow and I'm hoping he has a path forward after his research. They are going to run some more tests tomorrow as well but I'm not sure what. T has had a few coughs today but seems to be feeling pretty good. Thank you for thinking of us.

Re: 8/30 Gracie PMPS 95 pancreatitis

Glad you guys are starting to get answers, and can find paths to healing over there....

(((((Marje & Gracie)))))
Not the diagnosis you wanted for Gracie, but now you know exactly what to do. Gracie, Rusty is picking you some beautiful healing vines and we both hope that your flare will de-flare very quickly.

Marge, I sure hope that the doctors can diagnose your problem so that you can take steps to get it cleared up. Could it be some sort of weird allergic reaction to something? It seemed to come on so quickly. Anyway. Please get good rest. KTSS will bring you some chicken soup tonight. Rusty is at the stove as I write.

Mike, Tobey, Gus, you guys are in charge of getting Marje and Gracie well!

Hugs from us,

Ella & Rusty

Re: 8/30 Gracie PMPS 95 pancreatitis

Thank you all. What I need is a nurse    Mike has to go back to work tomorrow and I think I've worn him out but he has been the most fantastic nurse and do it all man!

Sorry to hear that it is pancreatitis but you did a great job figuring out something wasn't quite right with Gracie. Her numbers look great and if she is eating then it doesn't seem to be bothering her too much.

More hugs to you too Marje and healing vines for whatever they find out. Take care and save your energy for your fur kids.

Sending healing vines for both of you. :YMHUG: cat_pet_icon :YMHUG: cat_pet_icon You caught the pancreatitis early, I'm sure Gracie will be fine in no time.

Thinking of you, and hoping both you and Gracie will be doing better soon! Thank you for the updates. We are all worried about you, but hope it's nothing serious.

Mike is a good man.
I hope Gracie continues to feel fine, and I'm sending healing vines to you both.

Dearest Marje. I'm so sorry you and sweet Gracie both have tummy troubles. I'm glad that you have a diagnosis for her, and can now get her on a course to recovery.
Prayers for a simple diagnosis for you, and you too, can get on with recovering. I am all too familiar with tummy pain, as I have chronic diverticulosis, and occasional extremely painful flareups. For me, it's just a course of antibiotics.

I am not an armchair diagnostician....just empathizing with you about belly pain.

Prayers and very gentle hugs to you, Marje.

Barb

(((Marje))) Thinking about you. I hope the GI tests aren't too uncomfortable and that they help you and your docs figure out how to help you recover and feel better soon.
Mike sounds terrific as your nurse and do-it-all guy. I think he should ask for a raise in his pay.

All my best for Gracie's recovery from pancreatitis too. My goodness, she loves you so much that she has sympathetic tummy aches.

Oh dear:( My internet was down and I missed all this. I'm so sorry to hear that Gracie has pancreatitis. I hope the appt with the internist will be able to give you answers on how to best proceed with sweet Gracie. Sorry to hear that you're still having your own GI issues. It certainly does sound like you and Gracie are well connected. I hope the results from your tests will help to get you on the right track for healing too. Hugs to you both!

Marje, so sorry about lil Gracie's pancreatitis diagnosis. So many kitties lately with it! Good luck with the Specialist for Gracie and sending healing vines and hugs for both of you. I hope all the tests will help your doctors with a diagnosis and get you on the way to a treatment and healing.

Awww! I'm sorry Marje! Poor Gracie and poor you! I hope you both get better quickly. I'm so glad it doesn't appear to be bothering Gracie too much. I hope it stays that way. Make sure you take care of yourself too. It's been lucky that Mike was here but don't wear yourself out now that he has to go back to work. Let everything go that isn't absolutely necessary and rest.

Sending healing wishes to you and Gracie!
Hugs,
Melanie & Racci

OH, that stinks - sorry to hear about the diagnosis for Gracie and that you both start feeling better. Hugs and feel-better wishes,
