Happy Caturday LL!

After a huge drop last night at +3, Eddie wobbled around in low yellows and high blues, but couldn't quite bounce-clear. He was back in the pinks this AM, but I guess that's an improvement over red pre-shots. There's been no big drops this morning (anti-jinx), so hopefully, he'll do the slide down to PMPS tonight and we can keep working on flattening him out.

DH headed out of town this morning to do go fun stuff, and Eddie's grammy (my mom) is coming to stay with us tonight. The plan is to do some shopping today with DM and my sister. Looks like Eddie's going to give me the OK to do that. I'm going to attempt to be home to get an AM +10 to see if Eddie's continued to slide down, and if so, try out the snack experiment in case he has an exciting evening planned.

At least Eddie is giving you worry free number so you can go out. Have fun shopping with your DM and DS. I hope Eddie keeps sliding slowly down today.

Shopping was a success, and DH will have to make more room on his side of the closet for my new purchases. :lol:

Eddie was flat yellow all day, which maybe should have potentially tipped me off - but I was watching for a slide, which didn't happen. I didn't proceed with the late cycle snack since there was no slide. It looks like Eddie was just delaying the slide a bit, and has now jumped off the diving board at PM +2. His +1 was 320 which looked like a food spike, so there wasn't really a tip off that the +2 would be a dive. With a drop this early, he might just clear to greens tonight. Maybe Grammy can witness first hand the PCPCPC routine. ;-) Actually, on second thought, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Eddie jumped off the high dive with Grammy being here. Eddie has been showing off how cute and silly he is all day. Added some 14% to third supper at +2 to try to slow him down a bit.

i saw that 115 point drop at +2 and thought "EDDIE!" ohmygod_smile

ugh, well ya gotta work with what they give you - and the crystal ball often doesn't work that well with FD. it does look like he might be headed for green numbers tonight.

Julie, you have no idea how many times a day I think the exact same thing. :lol:

Can I tell him he's qualified for the varsity LL diving team, so maybe he won't continue to feel the need to impress us all with his diving technique? ;-)

Fed some 10% for fourth and final (tentative) supper. Hopefully that will put the brakes on a bit so we can get a few hours in good numbers before he swings back up into the next bounce.

Okay....so I know how frustrating the bounces and dives are, and I'm not trying to make light of that, but the banter between you and Julie today made me chuckle. Thank goodness humor is a great coping mechanism, right?

I'm wondering if Eddie somehow knew your intentions with the late cycle snack and deliberately thwarted your attempts to stop the dive. Perhaps a little plotting???? Not that I'm familiar with plotting kitties, but...... :lol:

In all sincerity, I know the bounces and dives have been driving you crazy lately. You're doing a great job managing it all. I'm always awed by your analysis of his patterns, the questions you pose about the mechanisms of FD, the food manipulations you try, etc. I have no doubt that it will all pay off. I just have a feeling that you're so close to finding that perfect dose/food combination/feeding schedule that will flatten out the dives and bounces.

Come on, Eddie, it really is easier to join the bean rather than plot against her. The surfboard is looking pretty good right now, buddy. Hop on it.

There are definitely days that laughing is the only thing you can do. :smile: I know you experienced this too, but sometimes it's hard not to let your emotions get tied to the rollercoaster numbers. I also do think Eddie sometimes intentionally thwarts my efforts to figure him out! I come up with a complicated game plan, and then he changes up his patterns, making all my plans a moot point. You can only do what you can do! ;-)

Ya. Eddie likes to walk on the edge. :? I've been trying to keep him surfing without shooting him up, which he appeared to be doing on 10% (albeit in the mid-40's) but I switched from 10% to 15% with the 44. I'd like him a little higher.

I seriously miss Jersey's condos and Shelly's description of her antics. :lol:

I'm hopeful for the dosecrease/food manipulation method. While the massive drop tonight virtually guarantees a wicked bounce, I'm pleasantly surprised that Eddie hasn't hit the launch button...yet! (anti-jinx). Although this bean is getting tired, and AM shot time is a mere 4 hours away, I'm pleased with the green surf tonight. Be careful what you ask for? :lol: It occurred to me that Eddie's had a run of greens in two consecutive days. He bounced for 6 cycles after the first early cycle drop, then bounced for 4 cycles, and then just two cycles before hitting greens again tonight. :smile:
